Armaan has biological family despite being treated as sautela by all. His father and PH folks except Vidya are his family biologically. So as much as he wants his own family ab also wants the same. Infact for Ab a child will be her only khoon ka rishta ever since she has no one else at all! Do they even factor that in when they talk crap to her?! Even these fossil fuels will die soon and Ruhi is her step maasi ki beti..so she's more distant than a second cousin.

Exactly - that is what is pissing me off as well. They're women themselves - why can't they show atleast that basic shred of woman hood that anyone would feel when they see or hear another woman gent such devastating news and not offer one ounce of understanding.

They could have had the discussion in private, they could have halted the shaadi or something else

Drama ke chakkar main I really am weirded out at how awful they have made all of this

He didn't speak up enough? Why did he not go behind Abhira? Why did he not say he will marry her no matter what instead of saying he'll speak to Abhira in private?

Vidya is right to call him adopted in a sense ..because she has adopted him as her son and does not think of him as sautela ..clearly Kaveri thinks of him as sautela because he is not born of the chosen womb ..she thinks of Vidya as the Bahu..child not born to Vidya is sautela for Kaveri too ..that’s all that make sense ..because no one uses the word sautela for an adopted child ..!
