Honestly, by any standards he was actually. During fake engagement days, he bought her a car, got her a driver, bought a new phone and also made arrangements with the guard for info without her knowledge or consent. Then after that, when she made it clear that this is their last meeting, he, in his delulu world, decided that they are now friends. He kept calling her despite her clear no and avoidance, got Junaid to "take care" of her without her knowledge or consent, kept calling her, then once he came back - he jumped into her familial affairs without her consent and demanded she break her engagement (after having already broken two engagements/weddings of her previously), then sent her semi-threatening messages (yeh tum mere saath achha nahi kar rahi sounds very ominous), then threatened to poison himself and frame her fiance, also threatened to have her fiance arrested on trumped up charges, got her ex-fiance fired from his job and threatened to stop him from finding new employment, and pretty much managed to push the FL into a corner where she had to threaten him with suicide.

I have repeatedly said this - Salar is very very lucky that he is the ML (which means FL is also in love with him) and is very well written. Any other show and he could very easily be interpreted as a obsessive stalker or a toxic hero who likes tormenting the FL.

Well I'm color blind i guess i don't see all these things like you do perspective i would say cause if not for salar nosey and obsessive nature sitara would have been married to any man that her family brought no doubt he tormented her but his gray character keep the dumbness of our fl balanced lol.. not everyone in this life has to be completely green or red sometimes you have to be bad to get some things done...

Lmao. Salar is indeed very well written. Objectively speaking, things like these should have creeped us out. But you honestly feel and understand his love, care and worry for Sitara, even if it is somewhat obsessive at several points, with dashes of somewhat alarming possessiveness. You are right when you say that it is needed because Sitara is stupidly self-sacrificial by nature and her family are an absolute toxic cesspool, both of which Salar is very well aware of. So it balances things out. Also, in real life, things are a lot messier and sometimes even enter a grey territory. In fiction, unfortunately sometimes you have to sacrifice feminism to enjoy a good romance.

Objectively speaking, it was no wonder that his dad thought he was harassing a girl because clearly whatever he was seeing kind of gave him the impression that Salar was trying to chase after a girl with his money. First he used his dad's influence to get favour from one of his business associates to transfer her fiance with a much bigger salary and other perks to Dubai, then he broke up another of her weddings and declared her his responsibility while missing his flight to a job for which he fought tooth and nail with his dad, then he got her a car and the girl clearly refused him as she threw back the key in his face and injured him (clearly showing that the girl is not materialistic), then his son apparently returns home from Canada with no explanation and keeps muttering and texting yeh tum achha nahi kar rahi ho and obsessively calling someone and crying and tells his wife that he is in love with this girl who is engaged to be married to his former childhood friend, then ultimately his very ill son goes out to a restaurant in rain and his guards inform him that the girl threatened to take her life with poison because he threatened her fiance. Obviously, at this time he would be alarmed at his own son's behaviour.
