Also in Gul E Rana , Andaaz E Sitam , Khaani to name few. But you are right , those kidnappers were first villains, then they became heroes.

In gul e rana, khaani they were mainly regarded as villains hai na, isliye unko happy endings bhi nahi diya. I don't know about andaaz e sitam, not seen it, never heard it.

Andaz E Sitam is an Kubra Khan and Agha Ali's show. It was one of Kubra's earlier dramas.

There was another show which had a happy ending , it is Yeh Chaahatien Yeh Shiddatien. Starring : Fawad Jalal (who plays Junaid in Kaffara) and Anum . I watched it on Daily Motion.. and read the novel. It had a kidnap too. And a villain turning into a hero

heyy, even sitara is reminiscing her wedding moments with salar hehe. also, salar missing sitara's actions & talks is complete young teen boy or college boy in love.

I read your post mentioning Yeh Chahatein Ye Shiddatein before and watched it.

Salar wants Hyderabad wali Sitara who was carefree n bubbly ... That Sitara can never be back coz now she has badnaami bojh... But with salar wedding the whole family may come to her feet begging for money n stuff...

Also love how he mentions stuff he wants back coffe banane wali, buraai karne wali ... He really connected with her n wants that sort of wife with traditional role

I do think Sitara can recover back to her bubbly self although maybe more matured and somewhat less carefree. After all, she had faced the tremendous loss of losing her parents once and yet held on to hope. I am sure she is strong enough to recover. However, that recovery will need some time and space (definitely so from that wretched family of hers) and lots of genuine love, care and affection.

Salar wants a wife that he is genuinely connected to. Whatever he has with Sahiba, if it at all be called anything, is ten times worse than what his parents have. Unfortunately, those were his original marriage options. No wonder the guy didn't want to get married.

Should we call Ishq hai marriage a forced marriage? as Shahzeb didn't marry her by putting gunpoint on her or her family members but on himself. As Isra loved him, she agreed to marry him to save his life.

Exception was Malal e Yaar. In Malal e yaar, Mirza Zain character kidnaps Azekah Daniel character and marries her by putting gunpoint on her sister. And the male lead got a happy ending.

Yes. Those days I remember we used to like watching dramas which has anti heroes . They were very enjoyable.

I still do like watching anti heroes dramas. It's rare to find them. In general, we can find them in Chinese dramas.
