2nd: Didn't like the initial part... where they kind of confessed their love for eo.

Then comes the annulment papers... its the same thing that Ammu hadn't signed... They do argue... [Didn't like the i and u references in dialogues] ...

He's being Mahaan... she listens to his explanation / justification silently... doing this so that she will be safe... [flip side is so that he can live w/o guilt]... ex watches... he gives her the pen to sign too... [expecting her reply... hasn't yet come up.]

Babs waiting... thinking about ex... ex falls at her feet and apologises... [since she now knows about the papers]... Babs doesn't fall for her trick... reports V gave Ammu the papers.

'Phirse apni marzi thopna chahte ho?' she's angry but more like 'ruthi hui'... not what I was expecting. Asks the reason... 'The guilt that he cant protect her is eating him up'.

She refuses... 'you married me apni marzi se and annulment mai apni marzi se karungi'... goes to burn the paper... he stops her.

I didnt like Ammu's reaction... should've been anger... not the ruthi hui (hmm... dont know the English word for that one.. anger... but that's a bit different)... Didn't like Virat's reason... yeah... Mahaan... but more like he wants to be guilt free. Not a good reason. in fact pretty lame. And it comes up right after his convo with ex. One of the 2 scenes should not have been shown.

Felt like a lighthearted ep, despite it being a plot point perhaps... feel the reason is his reason isn't good enough and her reaction wasn't apt enough... but that's my opinion... one of the better eps nevertheless.

Nope. But ex falling at Babs' feet and apologising can be taken to be leading to that - but if I hadn't known about the wedding plans, I would not have guessed it will lead to it.

You give so much time & would not normally ask. Theres limited updates on X as chem Addicts coming down from their high.

Please can I ask summary of his words as reason for annulment. Based on your update it seems there is disconnect still between VSA staircase & date night annulment

Supposedly ex was close enough that she could hear what they were talking and far enough that they couldn't see her... another Mr India move by ex or the makers.

The papers could've been anything - say 49 % to Ammu since he gave 51 to Nimmi... but bet she could see the paper too since she reported Virat has signed it and now he wants her to sign.

Yes, there is a disconnect b/w the two scenes.

Reasons are that Ammu is getting hurt and he feels guilty every time something happens to her. Cant face and cant answer Bhavani when she questions him... he knows ex will bring more trouble. Couldn't keep the promise that he will protect her / wont let anything happen to her.... along those lines...

They sort of confessed to each other?! This is all the result of the ratings.. Amruta's ruthna instead of showing anger.. most likely they have 1-2 months after which zee may have the replacement show ready.

Yeah... felt odd too. She also refered to the mela incident as 'sometimes jo hum nahi chahte hai wahi humare liye sahi hota hai' (something similar) For me that was the most disappointing part of the ep... followed by her roothna.
