Why make a woman be apologetic about her dreams and add all that nonsense about good Bahu and Dadi sa and all ? DKP has handled the same track pretty well in KTLK..it was only about her career and ambitions ..no excuses about learning to be a Bahu and all..
Abhira said that she wants to first become a good wife, bahu and work on her career before stepping into motherhood, and because she does want to do well in all the three roles. Being a good bahu is important to her, otherwise why would they have this long drawn track about kaveri's blessings. I do not think that being a good bahu equals to becoming a mother, if the family wants it. You have to be mentally and emotionally ready for motherhood. Someone can be a homemaker and not be ready to become a mother, and that too is perfectly fine, which is why these conversations are extremely important before marriage.
