First of all, Jethu Bodo maa were neither on Ani's side nor J. Ani is the child who grew up in front of their eyes. He has always been affectionate towards them and Appu. He has done more than their own son. They have not seen him behave so unethical before. It's foolish to expect they will support J and point fingers at Ani straight away.

They also know J wouldn't randomly do such thing. They are confused on how to handle it. J madam ji wanted them to straight away believe in her and got angry on them for using the word shayad.

J for one sec didn't think if jethu bodo ma were so kind towards an outsider like her, how much they would care about Ani and love him. She doesn't want to even give them time to process. They are not privy to many things. Their reaction was kind but natural.

From what is being discussed in the forum there are lots of scenes in bts that are being cut in the aired episodes, that’s why you probably felt disconnected. I don’t understand the makers why to cut the scenes like that. Maybe they again are rushing the track? What is going on?

I take this serial at face value.. this isn’t a thriller movie where you guess if someone is genuine or pretentious or if someone has ulterior motives.. also I am not an expert to decode each minute expression of the actor and comprehend what their inner motives are… imo ani was quite not because of the dhamki, in his monologue he thought jhanak is taking revenge for asking her to lose the competition for Arshi.. he is scared that J will reveal this truth which will create further complications in his life and marriage… today he accepted in front of Arshi that he was wrong to think that J is truthful.. at least after fire incident, he is trying to move on with her.. He was stunned when J revealed.. it’s too big of an allegation even for a man.. he left the place as he was shocked and numb and couldn’t respond… that doesn’t mean he accepts the accusations.. makers will stretch and tomorrow he will give back to J and won’t accept…

I also believe he wanted to move on with Arshi, therefore he said to Arshi in the SR l will prove to you that I love you. So he is doing the right things now. And we are still bashing him. He made his decision to be with Arshi, yes his heart is still longs for J, but he is not thinking with his heart now, only with his damaged brain. I think he is has trauma from what happened to him and J, and Also Arshi, he feels guilty, he is trying his best to be good pati, family man and J as a toofan is damaging all his life with her accusations. Also Arshi again doesn’t believe and understand him. After the Mumbai Arshi and Ani started to support each other again thanks to J’s sacrifice, but now when everything seemed ok to him, again J came and created havoc. He doesn’t remember Kashmir night, we have to believe it.
and just before Kashmir night he was going to to temple wedding with Arshi, when he fell sick he was asking how Arshi did not even notice that he fell sick but J noticed he was sick. Now he may even think that J used him in his sickness to get intimate with him to trap him and become pregnant from him once the baby’s DNA report comes. We should be prepared for anything, they are degrading him, so Arshi will not understand him again and then he will feel guilty and then will run after J especially when she loses their child. So, they will repeat season one but more toxic version
