Hello Awida! Thanks for the welcome. I randomly got this drama recommended on YouTube and decided to check up on it. Three days of binge watching later, I am hooked. Not to mention the leads have incredible chemistry with each other. Honestly, would love to see a more positive track. The last really positive Pakistani drama that I had seen was Aunn Zara and this pair of leads' chemistry actually reminded me of that.

Hello Pressu! Thanks for your welcome. Yes, it has been a while since I had actually gotten hooked on a TV drama. I loved this pair. Their interactions seems so genuine in comparison to the more macho man - abla nari pairings that I keep coming across in ITV and PTV dramas.

As for this pic, hmm. I think it is after she accepted Salman's proposal (and probably Salar just learning about it) and so before marriage. I believe that is the case since he seems to be in his deewana mode and is being quite aggressive and confrontational with her (probably because she is avoiding/ignoring him and we all have seen previously how aggressively he responds to that). I doubt he will do that after marriage. I think his intensity will probably mellow down a bit once they get married and he will go into "let's rebuild what we had" mode and will probably give her a bit of time and space instead of being whatever he was doing in this scene.

There is a Pakistani drama similar to Aunn Zara named Chupke Chupke . It is lots of fun.

I understand what attracted you to this drama. Yes. The lead pair is compatible .. Sitara voices her opinions in front of Salar.. and he listens to her even if he doesn't like what she says. When they first met their arguments were natural, and they learned how to understand eachother's opinions.

Yes. I have watched Chupke Chupke. It was fun (before all the negativity began taking toll) but the lead pair chemistry was different from Aunn Zara one. Like I thought it needed a bit more buildup or writing to show that those two were actually compatible.

Lmao at today's episode. This guy is taking responsibility (and genuinely so) but his basic personality is still pretty intact. Salar squaring up with his rival was funny as hell. It is now pretty certified that all of Sitara's cousins are terrible people to various degrees.

So, the way it is going Salman and his family wants to humiliate Salar as well as Sitara and since they cannot really touch Salar, they want to do it via destroying Sitara. I thought the new bhabhi will be better but even she has shades of grey. Wow. Sitara really needs to ditch this family.

Salman, you are going to be dead once Salar finds out about you. It explains that Salman following Salar and Sitara scene in the series promos. This guy is definitely a miserable kebab mein haddi. I thought he is going to run away but I am increasingly thinking that Salar will definitely raste se hatao him. Salar is actually going to get more and more obsessed with Sitara. He is genuinely not going to accept Salman-Sitara alliance. Boy, Salman is going to be in so much trouble.

And Zohaib, tera number bhi aayega beta. I feel that because he is the only son on Sitara's patrilineal family, he feels more attached to his tau and tayi than his own sister (or female cousin for that matter) because he probably is expected to become the man of their house next and was thus treated much better than even Kiran, let alone Sitara. I mean, I can understand that he is almost a surrogate son to Tau and Tayi whose only sore point is their only child is a girl. Once the two girls are married off, it is essentially Zohaib who is the future of that household, probably marrying and bringing in a bride and his tayu and tayi essentially being surrogate parents-in-law to his bride. So, definitely can see why Zohaib is behaving the way he is with with Sitara. But this comes from a deeply patriarchal and misogynistic value system and I believe Zohaib and his own troubles which will definitely come up in the future will be the slap he needs to get his head screwed back on right.

I hate Zohaib. Being that he is Sitara’s younger brother, the way he acts is more annoying.

Uff the way Prince Charming Salar walked into the Nikah and declared his love for Sitara in front of everyone was astounding

And Nimi's face. My God. Uske to saare khwaab chaknachur ho gaye. And lmao at Junaid's expressions. Praying to God for patience at the damad declaration to that eye brown lift and head tilt at mohabbat declaration. He was like "wait a minute, does this guy actually realise that he has fallen in love". And at the end, Salar looked so proud of himself.

On the other hand, why in the world does Salman/Nimi's family even think that Nimi is at all an option for Salar? Given that he supposedly had a bad reputation with phupho at the beginning, it truly baffled me. Like Phupho would been protective of her beautiful daughter instead of trying to get a bigdail ameerzada who will clearly have marital options from his own class. Kahin ameerzada advantage na le and ruins her daughter and escapes and given his resources, he is never going to acknowledge any transgression and Nimi would be ruined. Like does Phupho not have that foresight and is that stupid?
