Same is happening with RuNak.. had AniShi not been to Kashmir, not met jhanak their lives would have been beautiful and perfect in their own way..
Contrary to what RuNak fans feel, I don't think Ani never loved arshi or it was just infatuation.. his first love is jhanak.. sorry, I don't buy this.. you can't be in a relationship for so many years with just the idea of being in love... Ani might have fallen out of love and fallen for jhanak but that doesn't mean what AniShi shared wasn't love.. they were happy in their relationship..
And if I am to be brutally honest what RuNak have is anything but love.. there is physical attraction, attachment issues, unhealthy jealously and emotional dependency, and bord line obsession but love sorry.. they have ZERO Trust, ZERO Respect, ZERO Understanding and ZERO compatibility... But Anishi somewhere have all of this though the authenticity of these feelings may be debatable..
Despite knowing Ani is Arshi's husband, jhanak is declaring she can die for him on stage, dedicating a song for him in her mind for the time they spent.. that' attachment issues at its worst..
After Ad shoot Ani had said Arshi would have never behaved like this.. has Arshi never spoken to any other man except Ani.. obviously not.. she would have male friends but it's the trust that Ani has on Arshi's loyalty.. but wrt jhanak he can trust a woman like shristi but not her.. in love you don't get worked up seeing your partner shaking hands with an opposite gender.. that's unhealthy cringey and not cute jealously...
Do I like RuNak chemistry? Yes. But as couple? No. No offence but had jhanak not entered their lives, AniShi would have happily lived their lives...

Yes I firmly believe that Aniruddh did love Arshi according to whatever his definition love was at that time....He did love him...
Aniruddh and Arshi compartmentalized their lives for these years into precisely that - work and romance....like there were only two modes and nothing in between in their relationship. This shows a shortsightedness and lack of understanding of relationships despite being grown/mature people....
Lack of understanding bcz in Kashmir Aniruddh was so oblivious that he did not understand that Arshi is actually getting jealous and insecure of the attention he was giving to Jhanak..When he brought Jhanak with him,He actually thought that Arshi would stand by it....Arshi also was pleasantly surprised when he discovered different layers and shades of Aniruddh... simply bcz she didn't know him...
I actually think Ani had no real understanding of what love means to him.....he had created an image of it and fit Arshi into it....that image is false because it does not factor in Ani's true nature. That is part of the problem....when Ani was not even in touch with his true nature, how will he know what love meant to him? The relationship he built with Arshi was a relationship between two images, not two people. He presented a facade to her, she bought into that facade and then built a corresponding facade which kept feeding the fantasy from both sides....
Anirudh is soo close to Jethu,Bodomaa,Appu Dii and Choton....but Arshi was never interested to form a beautiful relationship with them...Rather she was pretty indifferent/rude to them...Then was that really a good relationship with complete understanding! Then why didn't Arshi never understand how much suppressed Aniruddh is in his family.....by his parents
About his behaviour wrt Arshi and Jhanak...it is those overwhelming feelings and forbidden emotions that often stir him up and make him act volatile wrt her... I don't think Arshi has ever affected him to this extent.....bcz with Arshi it was the "Aniruddh Bose",an image that doesn't behave out of line and is always proper & classy.Ani is possessive, he is protective and he is territorial....The way he looked into the eyes of Tejas while protecting Jhanak...with fire in his eyes...that passion is Aniruddh Bose
he is a passionate man at his core who hasn't expressed even 1% of that passion in the one long term relationship he's had in life with Arshi....so how can it ever be love for Ani without passion? Love is an extension of your core nature....which Ani has mostly repressed for very long....contrary to how he is wrt Jhanak....so himself....in fact he has discovered himself more and more by being with her....
Yes RuNak relationship is not an ideal one...but look at their journey... started with forced marriage....then it went through so many ups and downs.. they went through so much together...They were not even allowed to talk to eachother properly... amidst so much toxicity and opposite situation they developed a emotional intimacy...after going through so much.still they love eachother.... their feelings for eachother is still intact.....These two broken but beautiful people who were always craving love and acceptance.. finally found a connection that came with a forbidden tag......and they can't do much about it caged by their past baggage..... Isn't it frustrating? Can't they make mistakes in these circumstances?...yes definitely love is not enough.... understanding eachother is important but even without understanding they are always ready to let go of eachother's bad words and ready to sacrifice and protect eachother.....
Even after them being through so much...their love is still intact....but in case of AniShi which was a convenient one,Jhanak was probably the first Strom..see what happened to their love.....
If Jhanak hadn't come,then what would have happened that no one knows....we can only assume...I believe they would not have lead a happy life bcz obviously date pe Jana, shopping karna and kisi ke saath Zindagi bitana is different...They would have gradually discovered eachother...they definitely would have disliked some....then what!!!
