Anirudh used to be decent, sensible, software hearted, progressive guy at the beginning of the show.. Even his dynamics with aarshi was also normal like any other couple..because there was no hurdles..boy meets girl, fall in love and decide to marry... Simple...both knew they have haq on each other and they can exercise it any time..then Jhanak enters his life..though she was his wife she negated him as her husband and constantly questioned his haq on her... the sense of not getting her as his WIFE actually transformed his personality into toxic, insecure and regressive...and that's why we are seeing the Anirudh now who is so different than what we used to know..his love for her and it's unattainability have changed him as a person..and he cannot sense it unless someone shows him the mirror..
