I saw a lot of people telling now Jhanak is free of ehasan. For the beautiful soul she is I dont think she will feel free from his ehsaan.And also him saying I dont want anything for myself shows ,how he consider that whatever he did to her was selfless not expecting that in future I will ask to return it. He too remains committed to her for saving his life from Tejas . He asking her to lose the competition is disgraceful to him and I dont defend him in this at all. But regarding helping when it was most needed , my thoughts are different .

Agree with you totally Maya! Has Ani not helped her the day she lost her mom or after her almost marriage to Tejas, and umpteen times more, we dunno whether J wud hv been here to see the light of the day! So I too personally feel that she can never be free of the ehsaan. What I feel is in life somebody helps us but we can NVR be sure that we can help them back the same way nor wud v b sure that we can help them in anyway for that matter. And so help comparisons shud NVR be done. N what we shud do from our side is help others whenever or wherever we can so that we can reduce our burden a bit but u can NVR be the help weightage wud be the same!

Agree 100% with everything you have stated here ! It's a mis-placed sense of guilt and a mis-judged sense of zimmedari, towards some one who bloody does not deserve an iota of it !

Two wrongs don't make a right - And PDA is extreme cheap stunt and a tauheen to the concept of love - but you know lazy makers with their dearth of creativity and originality - so may be we are headed towards Adi - J PDA - keeping in mind that it does not go with J's character at all - but may be just may be coz she is the FL, they might spare her from behaving off-character, hopefully, fingers -crossed !

Honestly, Ani has no other reason to ask this of Jhanak except out of fear that he is apprehensive of Arshi’s actions post loss; doesn’t justify his actions of asking J but at least we know where the character is coming from. That angle is terribly messy and god knows where they will go with this.

I know the forum has been debating ceaselessly on various things… like pyaar tha bhi ya nahin and stuff like that but in my view… the only hitch which has been enigmatically kept from the audience is Ani’s motivation for this fear when it is not actually driven by love for Arshi.

I have always felt that this story concludes when Jhanak accepts her love for Ani but the makers are greedy and want to add so many complications along the way to stretch it to the extent ki kuch mehsoos hi na ho!!

Even when she was unconscious he fought for her right to get justice more than J's plight in the police station. He puts Arshi over J every single time. He only helps J when Arshi is not also involved. Remember reverse rasam,,,

Other than saving her from Tejas time and again what has Ani done for J openly that put her over his family and Arshi? The first time he saved J - ok it was the one deed he did fully without selfishness. Rest it can be argued that he wanted her with him because he could not bear to let her go...so he allowed for her suffering and humiliation just to keep her with him at his house under his eyes. He could have easily put her in a woman's hostel in Calcutta. OK he got her a dance gig and an Ad. Guruji got her the dance competetion and Adi will likely get her a movie. Ani has not done anything for J that is sacrificial in nature. He never even thought to give up Arshi for J, maybe once in Kashmir and BH later, but even then it was a lot of hesitation and made it clear to J that half his heart was still with his family and BH. Right after saving J in Kashmir, when J tells him Arshi will be coming to Kashmir - his response - he was more than good with it, and ok to marry Arshi.

After all this if Ani loves J more than Arshi, ....i'd like to know what love is? physical attraction?

All I'm saying is if they are anyway going to unite 2-3 years from now, more than the Ani Arshi torture, I would much prefer to see J develop deep relationships other than just Ani as it now is.

Ani has his family, Arshi, his friends, job; and he had the gall to tell J a person who has no one that all Arshi the spoilt brat had was him.

Right now J needs to make her circle of trusted people larger, so she has a bigger support system than the very unstable love of her life - Ani.

In the show Ani-J chemistry is damn good, so people like Runak.

Yes Ani is soft hearted, empathetic, caring of the underdog. In real life show me one woman who wants a love like Ani has for J? So far everyone has been excusing Ani, me included. Tell me one area where his character has grown in the last 266 episodes. At some point one has to say the man does not know the meaning of love commitment clarity stability and permanence and will keep flipping throughout his life and move on to widen your horizon.

Unfortunately J will come back to Ani and they will never have a stable marriage ever because of Ani's disturbing core characteristics and his unhealthy obsession for Arshi. He will never walk away from her nor he from her.

Started to ramble somewhere but hopefully you got the point.

I will admit you have made a spirited defence of why you are not convinced that Ani loves J…I am not going to give a point by point rebuttal as that will make the post too long and honestly as viewers we all can have different perspectives to storytelling.

My only counter question is in all that the serial has depicted so far are you convinced that Ani loves Arshi? If the answer is yes, you are absolutely right to focus on the story for Jhanak’s journey. And even if the answer is no, being interested in Jhanak’s journey isn’t odd at all. We pick the narratives that interest us. I am interested In Runak’s story alone. For me their love story touches a chord.. their pathway is in pain now but I feel for the two…

As for Jhanak developing deeper relationships and forming a trusted circle of friendship away from Ani… I would say absolutely she should and in real life it is something that is to be encouraged. Coz if your circle of influence is so limited, you are always in the danger of not having the right perspective to relationships. In fact, in my posts I have throughout maintained that Jhanak’s experience of a myriad life alone will give her the ability to address her moral dilemma. To me, the Mumbai chapter and her encounters with people here, good and bad is a step for her to experience life beyond the confines of BH, Ani included; gain confidence to lead her life independently.

I don’t think I have the capacity to answer the question if love is physical attraction alone, I would say it is a certainly a definitive part of it… how much I really can’t say…it sometimes begins with it and morphs into understanding and loving other aspects and at times it begins with understanding and companionship and reaches a stage of beauty is as beauty does or Beauty in the eye of the beholder!!

as far as the point about stability of Ani-J relationship in the future… well they aren’t even close to fructifying this one so hard for me to speculate what that holds. The issue is serials attach too much of narrative power to toxicity of relationship in a way they never explore the power of simple story telling!!

For me this is simple 3-4 line plot and it can only be a fixed episodes series - take a pick 300 or 350 episodes nothing more… if they intend to do beyond this, they will only do at the expense of the ML character as that is the norm of the industry. Also they will take themes of which they have zero understanding and mess around

I was drawn to the story based on the moral conflict angle and I tend to avoid stories where I have a suspicion that it will lead to forced entanglement morphing into love. And end in the kitchen .

I have a genuine irritation with that kind of love shown on itv although I completely understand lot of arranged relationships morph into love beautifully but don’t this medium has the creative license to explore that. Luckily or unluckily, I watched the serial mid way and it struck me here was a story that was doing everything to move away from the bond and focusing on the moral angle albeit subtly and I stayed on to see how that develops. Needless to say I was impressed with the writing for the ML and his flawed self so beautifully portrayed by Krushal. Also the Hiba Krushal chemistry sealed the deal for me.

He has been there before and he knows the wrath of Ma-beti has been extreme !

This could be the only way out he saw, to let J live peacefully ! Also, when he says Arshi has only me, I think when he saw the extent Arshi's own mother could go to , to harm J and the remorse she never felt, for hurting her own daughter in the process, could have made him to believe that she is not safe with her own mother and he is the one who should protect Arshi always !

He had once said to J, Arshi ke pass bahut log hai use support karne ke liye, tumhare pass koi nehi hai, bbas main hu !

Now he thinks the pasa has palto and he has already heard Guruji Jr. and AK 's contribution towards J's success!

I am not defending him AT ALL, I am trying to find reasons behind his actions !

Arshi is a girl with no self respect at all. When she knows Anirudh doesn't love her and she also knows now from Jhanak speech her win has something to do with Sirji and Jhanak still she gave such attitude wala speech. Why is ahe staying with him with so much consent, why is she shown as obsessed with a man when she has more to do in life than spoil the happiness of her life. The way Jhanak looked at the trophy when it was passed to Arshi.

Anirudh what did he do to her. He is feeling bad after he heard her struggle, but what is the point after snatching the only happiness from a lonely girl's life. I hope he too finds happiness like she said after asking for such a sacrifice 😏😏.

I'm surprised before grand finale she was saying k ma dance nahi ker paon g aur ub aik dum se itna confidence aa gya.

Ise jhanak se haarna chahea tha, ise sympathies ke nahi jooton ke zarorat ha aqal thikane aaye g. I hope after listening her princess speech phir jhanak se kise sacrifice kerne ko na bole. kyunke sacrifice bhi unhe k lea kea jaata ha jo is qabil hon.

People don't value things jab unhe easily mil jaen.

Anyway feeling bad for jhanak.
