I really wish that he had held Abhiras hand and taken her along though. That would have been a better end to the confrontation.

Ya i don't like that. She's there only for him. So saying that he doesn't know if she will come with him is silly. She's expressed her fears and insecurities regarding shaadi without Kaveris genuine approval but at the end of the day she loves him and wants to be with him.

I don't like how he's walking off alone instead of taking Ab with him.

Dadi Sa might fake accept to plan & plot to separate Abhimaan again.

Here's a Theory!

Dadi Sa, Sanjay might try to find Abhira's past/relatives to ensure something can be done to prevent the shaadi and might end up finding the connection to Goenkas.

And last minute MG might come and stop shaadi & take Abhira away!

Leaving the house and getting married should be her decision. He should not be making those decisions on her behalf. Abhira could have walked out with him if she wanted, but she stayed back for at least some time after that, as per the bts.

Abhira said she doesn't want to marry against Kaveris wishes and Armaan is leaving the house by going against kaveri, so he has left the decision to her by giving her the red dupatta whether she wants to go to him by going against kaveri or she still wants to wait. There is nothing wrong in what he did
