He does have a "grey" shade when it comes to judging his own family vs others. He gives major leeway to his family but not to others. For example if others pulled the stunts Sanjay or Ruhi did, he'd make them pay way more heavily.

And seeing his attachment to family is exactly why Abhira is sure that he can't actually pull off living apart from them with just her.

On Ruhi, I put it down to wishful thinking on Armaan’s part…he really wants to believe that Ruhi has finally seen sense ..because that would solve the bulk of his issues …keep his family and his brother happy, free him from guilt and possibly bring about a reconciliation between Rohit and he ..so in that sense, the poor guy is manifesting a positive Ruhi …he cannot imagine Ruhi would reconcile with Rohit to get to him..why would anybody even imagine something as ugly as that ..with Abhira, I would put it down to a woman’s intuition …! Her heightened senses are able to pick up Ruhi’s vibes because of the trauma of the past ..simply put, it suits Abhira to distrust Ruhi because she is on guard ..and it suits Armaan to trust Rubi because it gives him hope for a better future ..!

Edit - the medicine scene sounds like the suitcase scene ..he moved the suitcase to keep her from harm ..asked her if she was okay ..the medicine scene sounds the same

Exactly this. You summed up what I have been thinking since morning. This is what would have happened and i am not mad at either of them for how they dealt with Ruhi - it was exactly how i expected their characters to react given the situation and the amount of info each one has.

What has made me want to beat both of them up is that they are utterly not reading the scene when it comes to the environment they're currently in. I agree with what is being discussed wholeheartedly - unless they tell Dadisa that they will get married. but they need to move out after marriage so that both couples can adjust to each other, neither relationship will last.

I have seen enough ITV to know that the above mentioned conversation will never happen, but I do know that unless Armaan and ABhira both do not wisen up to the threat that Ruhi still poses to their relationship and actually discuss and deal with it (not the way Vidya did or advised Abhira but like mature adults), this relationship will quickly collapse like a pack of cards
