On Ruhi, I put it down to wishful thinking on Armaan’s part…he really wants to believe that Ruhi has finally seen sense ..because that would solve the bulk of his issues …keep his family and his brother happy, free him from guilt and possibly bring about a reconciliation between Rohit and he ..so in that sense, the poor guy is manifesting a positive Ruhi …he cannot imagine Ruhi would reconcile with Rohit to get to him..why would anybody even imagine something as ugly as that ..with Abhira, I would put it down to a woman’s intuition …! Her heightened senses are able to pick up Ruhi’s vibes because of the trauma of the past ..simply put, it suits Abhira to distrust Ruhi because she is on guard ..and it suits Armaan to trust Rubi because it gives him hope for a better future ..!

I had told this exact same thing morning as well. With Armaan is just a simple case of seeing what he wants to see. Ruhi genuinely moving on will solve many of his issues.

Interactions of Abhira and Armaan with Ruhi has been vastly different ( a huge reason I was extremely weirded out by Abhira sympathizing with Ruhi in earlier episodes). She has seen her pettiness and result of Ruhi interference first hand, in ways Armaan never has.

And I really don’t care about Ruhi ..but Armaan seriously needs therapy..unless his deep-rooted issues of lack of self-esteem, guilt and misplaced gratitude are not resolved, he won’t ever be able to have a single healthy relationship in his life …forget all other reasons, I don’t think he is ready or fit for marriage mentally atp!

He does have a "grey" shade when it comes to judging his own family vs others. He gives major leeway to his family but not to others. For example if others pulled the stunts Sanjay or Ruhi did, he'd make them pay way more heavily.

And seeing his attachment to family is exactly why Abhira is sure that he can't actually pull off living apart from them with just her.

However when you trust the wrong people..you end up getting fooled.. and that’s what’s happening to Armaan..he tries to see good in everyone..that’s why Ruhi and kaveri could manipulate him so much. This gen hero is a white character…previous 2 Gen heros did have some grey shades…where they made immoral decisions and actions…but Armaan has no grey shades …yet.. I hope they keep him this way..
