Fawad khan is being cancelled in Pakistan

For those unaware, it is because of Barzakh..his new show on Zee 5

The show features content on LGBTQ and fawad under fire for featuring in it. He is being abused left right centre. The show has officially been cancelled on YT Pakistan.The makers have issued statement and it is banned in Pakistan from 9th Aug.

He has turned off his comments on Insta and the comments under one post where it is not disabled are just full of hate. People are asking him to leave and they swear they will not see his content again for hurting sentiments.

Bet fawad did not see that coming. Weird coz such backlash never happened when he did Kapoor & Sons.

To me, that is a typical influenced social media reaction...narrow-minded people pushed to vent their frustration using the bashing of a celeb...

it reminds me the and in Rome during the gladiator games to distract the plebs...everything to not make people ponder about the power games polluting their lives...

Wow, no wonder I feel the end to mankind is near. Look how fast we are regressing. Great going. Give it more 400-500 yrs and we all are gonna kill each and become extinct anyways. The rise of hate across platforms is real, social media just happened to provide a platform to it that’s all.

Hope Fawad and Sanam and all people related to the show are safe.

It happened then too but did not get much traction.

The biggest problem was that this show was promoted to the pakistani audience, it was promoted as a show that people in Pakistan can watch, they also got people excited with fawad and sanam coming back onscreen after the big hit zindagi gulzar hai which was a show Pakistanis loved.

But the truth is the subjects shown in the show are not what the majority of the Pakistani population wants to watch, alot of what is shown is against Islam and what the majority of Pakistanis believe in. So this backlash should have been expected.

If this show was highlighted as being made for the international audience and not for the Pakistani audience then that would be a different matter, but it wasn't promoted that way

Wow. Just tried to read the comments under the one post which he left open and boy these people think spreading hatred like that is not haram? Did they not read their Quran and try to comprehend it? I am sure it must be mentioned somewhere there that spreading hatred for your fellow human beings is haram. Lanat hai aise logon pe.
