Is story main Arshi ka wajood strong hain becos without her, there is no obstacle to the path of true love….she goes out of the story, the serial will be like any other serial where the drama shifts to the kitchen and thereabouts.
So, in that sense… if we accept her character and even if you take it as a Cupid ( brings the lovers close) it’s not bad…
Here, the issue is largely writers are conflicted in my view about the approach. They have an OG show but realise that it may not work in the Hindi setting… here they know that the moment they get Arshi and Ani married, it’s the deathknell of the show as this audience will not likely entertain the EMA angle so they are trying their damnest best to dangle it but not proceed further.
I started watching the show as I found the conflict in the story tempting as I wanted to see how will they resolve the issue of Jhanak’s reluctance to get involved with a committed man given her circumstances and I found the character of Ani intriguing in the sense that he also has strong sense of right and wrong. The moral conflict was the biggest conflict and without that it is a straight line love story of boy meets girl and they fall in love.
So, for me Arshi’s presence doesn’t bother me…She is the catalyst and she is here to stay.. ideally, all this lakshmi and Saraswati and almost married talk could have been dispensed with but in the story… they can’t show Ani’s ties to Arshi in any other creative way, at least in the Indian setting coz we as an audience will likely not form a strong association of why is it Ani’s responsibility to get Arshi back on her feet if not husband. They perhaps lack the creativity to show why Arshi is still having a hold in Ani’s life so they are showing stupid dialogues of this kind. However if you look back Ani always has a strong sense of responsibility so him wanting to help Arshi get back on her feet shouldn’t be a surprise… his reiterating the husband position is his commitment to her… Ani at very few points discarded his association with Arshi; it’s complicated but within this the potential for the love to triumph is also huge.
I am now looking only at their meet lime Arjun’s machili ki aankh 😂😂😂 let’s see how that goes
Yes, the problem is Leena has the og, she is keen on showing her story whatever happen. But because of business doesnt take the guts to show them married.
That is why all charcters are looking so confused.
Like minority who watched the show from beginning may understand about his character being responsible. Still its may understand, as we are used to seeing this husband, wife relationship in ITV.
Otherwise they shouldn't make him utter those meri wife hai type dialogues, instead make clear she is my friend for long years I would take care if her until she is back to normal and then we will discuss marriage.. This would still give them huge trp.
But no.. Its all just following og, but not following... All confused on where to place Arshi or where to place Jhanak.
but while skipping saw few 
.. can’t say for Jhanak.. but Ani seems to be having hard time later.. though loving Jhanak ( seems like he hasn’t realised, he has to be with Arshi after so many promises he if breaks that then it will not suit well… till far away I don’t see Ani Jhanak happening now.. if J wins then that’s it.. it’s full & final ending for J & Ani.. they will only be able to yearn for each other but can’t be….
