Just read Suta’s update. Why is Meenu living in Shah house? Where are her parents? I mean, she has a problem with almost everyone in the house, why is she still living there?

Her parents also were part of Shah (extended) pariwaar Videsh bhraman Yojana and are "settled in US" (never bothered meeting the other family members). But somehow Vanraj is looking after Meenu's education.

The flaw here is that you're assuming Dolly and Sanjay to be well settled/earning in the US and hence, Vanrajan funding their's daughters education seems strange.

However, Dolly-Sanjay may actually be bhikharis on the streets of NYC or some other city in Amreeka just like Anupamaa.
