I don't know the show has become a bit predictable now for me. I am happy to be proven wrong but it's very clear to me that Jhanak's motivation/confession is going to be Ani's suffering.

Bold4: that is the part I am happy about .. we can now bash her all we want as she is no more dangling between good and evil...

As far as Anirudh is concerned , doesnt he also know how she is.

His words I lied to you about ring as you will make her life hell in Kashmir. When he knew about their Kashmir arrival from Choton his determination ,yes I am prepared to meet them.., even after marriage broke in Kashmir didnt he say during argument , your mom can insult me., u dint have issue in that ( something like that).

So he is aware of her nature. How much she can stoop and how cruel she is , now more clear about her mom too.

But this aag gave her a upper hand , so he is at the moment zipped .And being emotional when he reaches its max , he will give it back..which he has started bit by bit ...

Now its Jhanak turn to help Anirudh , so may be until they meet and she knows about the torture ,he might be mute and be suffocated in his life .

It’s about tarnishing the image of “the well known Mukharjee’s” They are all about status and power more than emotions. And obviously Srishti being the narcissist will turn her daughter into one to take her legacy forward. Don’t we see the same traits of narcissist in Arshi too? She is victimizing herself more than she should and sending Ani to guilty trips as if it’s only his fault. In fact, till her wedding Arshi was plotting and promised to make Jhanak’s life hell once she gets married to Ani. She received her karma, but instead of accepting her wrongdoings, she is emotionally manipulating Anirudh so he sticks to her out of his will/majboori because she knows Ani has a big heart. Yes he lies and she knows, but what other choice does he have? I mean he needs major clarity in him so he can express his emotions better to his people but he sees no hope so he thinks at least he should desensitize himself and do what majority wants vs what 1 person wishes. It’s so stupid of him too, but I guess will have to wait for Mumbai tabahi🥴

Asking as someone had this , but I forgot who that was...and off late we had this discussion ....so just asking as you wrote now.

Its becoming bit more predictable for me and that is why i did not want maers to take this route of handing everything to Arshi... its very clear what they are wanting to do. This was the longest possible route to extend the show, guilt trip both characters. Kuch dino me hum pak jayenge arshi ka tandav dekh kar now that she is becoming a vamp...they made us wish arshi to become a vamp , and then they will make us wish issase thodi kam vampgiri karavao... ani and Jhanak to waise bhi gulam bane baithe hai... But torture to hume hi hona hai!!

Arshi is convincing because from her angle, she has been questioning Ani for a long time about his intentions about Jhanak. however, in Ani’s defence, if you see Ani’s feelings for Jhanak had a gradual build up. Ani never was looking to form a bond consciously with Jhanak… He kept telling her to concentrate on a good life for the future..in which he did not imagine himself.

Arshi however, had a women’s intuition about it. She was willing to overlook in the past for the reasons already elaborated by you both, but that when Ani was ambivalent. Now she senses a clear change in Ani and thus his performance isn’t able to give her the confidence that it’s like old times.

If we go back to the episodes, his fondness for Jhanak grew very gradually. He was steadfast on one thing about making sure he was responsible for her well being but an intention to break off with Arshi didn’t enter his mind until perhaps the Kashmir track. I am not making excuses for Ani… Ani’s love for Jhanak is a gradual thing and until the end, he always reconciled to a life without her.

Exactly. Arshi was a character who had all the potential grey shades. And believe it or not, I actually started this for Arshi because I see J and A's in every other show. Arshi seemed like a very real person in the beginning given her situation. And those people have the greatest range to actually analyze and write about.

I am happy to see my initial fav of the duo getting to shine again.

Bold- Ani always was the guy who wants to help people, especially in terms of career because he can. So yes, it started with a sense of responsibility and morphed into a sense of love. It seems very typical but is always refreshing to watch because it shows how I love you because I need you changes to, I need you because I love you.

To Ani, he has done nothing wrong because he never intended to cheat on Arshi. nothing was intentional... he wanted to remain faithful and he went above and beyond to stay faithful... to the point where his feelings for Jhanak also turned into confusion for him. He tried so hard to do the right thing for Arshi's sake and his family's sake, he forgot he was doing wrong to himself. And because he was not being true to himself, he is not coming across as a faithful guy to Arshi (all of a sudden! trying not to go to that sudden riday-parivartan! 🙄). He thought his sacrifice, will make Jhanak happy, his family happy, Arshi happy... the only thing is he might not be entirely happy. But he was shown trying to find happiness with Arshi again the past couple of days.. the scenes that were practically burning our eyes! He lied to himself so much, that his love sounded like a lie to him... did I ever love her? Shayad nahi... Poor guy!

like I said, in all of this no one is wrong. Everyone is right! 😂 Galat hamare sath hoga , jo bhi hoga! Because in all of this one thing is certain, hamara torture hona pakka hai! 😂
