Yes as storytelling wise they are not promoting bigamy where in Imlie it shows openly n promoted so no change was happened in the show and the original was also taken from true life events.... So basic plotline was that....

So here they will not change storyline as people have no complaints about that... And in my all relatives n aunties who watched this show liking the storyline only minus constant toxicity at pro max ....
