exactly - Ani’s relevance to the show depends on his relationship with J. They will not have a FL in a EMA situation, the problem is not that everyone is worried a SR will happen, rather that they made the ML so weak that he is not only embracing his fate but also seems to be quite happy abt it.

Happy , no ...he was just going with the flow of talks..before that he had spoke rude to Arshi with regard to Jhanak and him not responsible for her loss....so when they changed the topic as madam cant handle emotions he just smiled.

That is what I think about that weird smile...director definitely wants to keep the suspense.
