The only inclusions I think that should have been made were Wahaj and Harris Waheed. And Khalid Butt in Khaie. They should have at least mentioned his performance.

I don’t agree about Durre being in the list yet. Hiba, although not a great actor, is still better than Durre. But she did carry Khaie so maybe they wanted to give her credit. Amina last minute replacing Radd with IM was a joke. As Hassan rightfully said it had no backbone no story so as a drama it didn’t deserve the critics spot.

Baki Yumna, Sajal, Bilal, Saba, Nouman, Zara, FQ, all deserved the top 5 spots. Ayeza was sidelined I think because of the first half of Mein and not having range to perform in JeJ as Amina brought up. I agree with Hassan that HAA has given better performances than JeJ at least and his argument of it being the same as Danish in JN made sense. But adequacy shouldn’t be good enough. It should also be impactful and elevate the role. He gave it back to Amina which I enjoyed If she can judge his choices why not him?

Glad Hassan also replaced Danish with Nouman otherwise he would have been trolled. This is not a star list but actors list. And I agreed with Amina that star and actor are two different things. They went into the Danish and Hiba debate a lot. Finally all out in the open but no surprise about their opinions. I lean towards Amina here because character portfolios do matter at the end of the day. Hope to see Hiba and Danish do out of the box roles which give them ample range to perform. Most actors these days have done a lot of critically acclaimed projects and commercial success both so competition is tough.
