He always took up the responsibilty of his family unlike Lal. The responsibility of Appu di . The sharing of burden at a young age.The way he fights for the rights of the weak Basus . And may be that is why they all took him for granted that he is strong. It often happens people mistake our strong stands and our emotional state as one. Some people dont cry , does that mean they are very strong. I guess they are the weakest .Anirudh too might not have shown his teras to anyone in the family unlike he is now to Jhanak. He is living his life in a mask.
Today too when Bips insulted him he trued his way indirectly by telling I wont tolerate you insulting infront of my parents...Alas the baba was insulting him more...
Its Jhanak with whom he found himself ..More than love the feeling of being himself . But unfortunately she too couldn't give him the benefit of doubt..
She too is very young ....hope this seperation gives both of them the much needed clarity as responsibilty and love are not same, but same in many ways .

Perhaps it was the reason why everything went wrong in his life. People saw him as something other than human. When he touched their lives, his beauty and charm and life-force sunk into their hearts, pumping into their veins and empowering them. Perhaps if they had seen him as a human, as someone capable of feeling the same amount of pain and despair as any other person, they would not have demanded painful promises. They would not have expected him to deliver beyond the limit.

But then it was not people that punished him. It was not people that wounded him. It was family โ or at least those that he considered family.
Yesyou are right..This idealist in Aniruddh; though sometimes frustrated me but that's who he is! Otherwise why would he share the responsibility,fight for weaker Basu's, shower Appu Dii with so much love sometimes being her father as well...why would he allowed his life to go upside down bcz of a stranger... that to fighting with his own parents..his own people..Though at times, it frustrated me โ to the point that I wanted to shake him.
For instance the absolute honesty with which he cared/acted (regardless of what it cost him), his empathy (which made him feel others pain and made him want to ease it; sometimes it would make him put on a positive act for others โ even if he was incinerating from the inside), his pure intentions/heart (often leading to people misunderstanding him or misjudging him, and him losing more than he could afford to on an emotional level)...his own insecurities also made it more messy for him...he also failed to take stand for his love, happiness and himself...
Yes I hope this separation gives both of them much needed clarity....of their own feelings... about the other person..and they can love then in a much healthier way...
And I really want Tanuja to change though...shower him with a genuine mother's affection..that would be such an emotional moment..
