I know makers n yaha sahi se story me show nhi kri hn. Aap agar last 3 episodes dekhy to usky facial expressions se clear hn that he's 99% faking to save Jhanak warna apni shaadi tak Arshi ko ek dafa bhi nhi dekha usney and was continuously staring Jhanak.

I believe as we grow up the definition of love also keeps changing as per our life experiences...and exposures..As our understanding goes...our definition keeps changing..

At that time according to his sckrewed understanding of love , he did love Arshi..She kind of ticked all his boxes...he convinced himself that he was in love...but true love is beyond all this

He had not experienced an all encompassing,all consuming love...

Now thing about life is, you don't know what you are missing until one day you are lucky enough to find that one thing. Same thing happened with him. He was comfortable with Arshi, as there was a convenience in relationship and of course he liked her very much, so all was good. It might have gone okay in future too, except few drama created by Shrishti...

Bam ..Jhanak happened...Ani who has spent most of his life being a loner, who is unable laugh freely and rarely confide into anyone, Jhanak came like a unpredictable breath of fresh air that threw him off his gaurds and made him realize that what was he missing all his life...

And he also has his own principal...his own values... that's why I believe he is stuck..

Ani is a very righteous person. He does what is right according to the situation. He initially got married to Jhanak to save her life and gave her the full support and that time he was in (so called) love with arshi. This time he is in love with Jhanak and arshi needs his support.

He has always kept his emotions and feels aside and have done what his right for the situation. His mind over rules his heart and we have not seen this twice. I think he is more in a piteous situation than Jhanak. Jhanak has atleast some so called people -chotton, bodoma, jethu, appu di and now minu to think atleast something for her. Ani is all alone with his turmoil. He needs some love and peace of mind. Har bar bina kasoor ke life changing situations mein phas jata hai. I so feel for this poor guy.
