Anirudh- I didn’t feel he was making an extra effort to pretend anything more on top of what he is already been doing. When I watched his police station scene, i kept yesterday’s scene as a continuation where both Appu and Ani were tormented about Jhanak’s arrest. I think why people felt 50/50 with Ani could be because the final verdict was already done and it was probably making him anxious and nervous whether or not J was guilty. However, I would doubt if he put any other effort apart from showing a pretense act in front of his family so they don’t make the case anymore ugly. He kept reminding them that police will take action and the culprit will bear its consequence of attempt to murder so that Shubo would not manipulate the laws and make it difficult for J. Mujhe bus yahan tak Ani ki effort nazar aye hai. That’s all he has done with limited time.

The whole credit to bail Jhanak out exclusively goes to Minu! ✨

I also want to enlighten Ani’s dialogues. He said: “Arshi ajaye gi aur adhooori shaadi pura karegi”

“Han sab normal hone main time lage ga, Lekin chahe Jo bhi hojaye main uska saath donga”

Note: He didn’t say “hum shaadi complete Karen ge uske ane ke baad”

Now that “adhoori” shaadi could be with anyone or in fact do not happen at all. He didn’t commit to it again. He just said he will support her towards her recovery. I don’t know how much we observed his dialogues but it indicated nothing towards AniShi.

Obviously it’s explicit the makers are deliberately trying to insert these dialogues for RuNak’s misunderstanding so that the couple fails to stay together. Perhaps in Mumbai they can rebuilt RuNak and leave the old remnants of their bitter-less sweet memories behind and establish a new bond and maybe unbreakable this time!

But Yes.... I think he said that about their adhoori shadi only...but I also think that he was not at all serious....he was doing overacting....only to divert his family's attention from Jhanak....he has not an iota of doubt or confusion in his mind..same with his performance in police station..I had told yesterday how much of a overacting it was....just showoff in front of police...

He is worried for Arshi yes...but not even once he said that he loves her yesterday..He was hell nervous...and he definitely knows what he feels for Arshi and Jhanak..hence making extra efforts to show otherwise....

Just to insert misunderstanding.... I am almost sure that Ani is faking...but it is gonna cost him a lot..and I am really sad about that....

But AniShi Nooo way.....but yeh bhi hai he won't backout from his responsibility....he is really stuck.....sad for him....

He was just diverting his family’s attention away from J as much as he could through this fake support to Arshi’s culprit. And he was successful. Now he’ll feel more relax when Minu unveils the truth. Jhanak will be hurt and Ani knows he has done a mistake out of his majboori. J will leave, Ani will be heartbroken and will go after her to set everything right at his own pace. That’s what I feel. 😅

I agree with you Vira … He wants to provide justice for Arshi and worried for her and her career.. He knows her dance is very important to her and he is just worried she might not be able to do it anymore…. In all this everyone are blaming Jhanak… As the saying goes if everyone says a wrong is right multiple time … it’s feels like that might be correct… this is what’s happening here with Ani …. Everyone blaming J .. he does have a seed of doubt that she might have done it … he want the see the proof to make any decision.Also, he did say IF proven guilty should be punished….
I don’t think he will say sorry after this whole court drama is done … he might repent once she moves out but I don’t think he will say sorry 😞

This goes along with what I said about Ani’s traits … he is god of justice like jhanak is goddess of Mahanata. He meant every word he said. In his heart he feels pain for jhanak but his mind is asking him to do what’s right (according to him). He is not being able to ignore what Shristi said , that she saw something. Think this, if he can fight for a stranger girl so much , do we expect him to sit quietly for arshi who he was about to marry, and he has been her friend and had shared romantic relationship with. So in conclusion, his roar for justice is not limited trait to jhanak not it can apply to other people as well. Like it has been mentioned in the show many times by other characters “agar jhanak ki gaha koi aur hota , tab bhi ani wo hi karata ko usanae kiya hai” !

As far as him not completely trusting jhanak goes, he is extremely left brain guy. He seriously lacks emotional intelligence. That is why we saw so many rifts between jhanak and ani! As they both think differently. For anirudh it was strange for Shristi to involve police so recklessly without any proof. So he has been distant with Jhanak. Jhanak and us are have emotional intelligence. And jhanak is extremely right brained person , for her she takes this as anirudh didn’t trust me! Or didn’t even bother to ask me about what happened. So this is it. This is definitely a nail in the coffin for jhanak. Anirudh will not feel guilty about it as he still thinks he did what was right, let law handle it … But yes it’s stupid … how they are writing this and executing this. People will see this as character assassin. And to some degree it is. And it is also not… considering what both of these went through it’s hard to think they will go to this extreme to show how much ani cares for justice. Please don’t expect monologue saying he was acting … he was surely emotional and worried about jhanak but he was also worried for arshi. He didn’t want to be unfair to her because of his feelings if jhanak was even slightly guilty. Shristi , his parents everyone was blaming her … again he was standing in the middle with two opposite set of people. He always used “agar” … so he wanted jhanak to be proven not guilty! But until it’s proven he also didn’t want to trust her because he loves her and forgive her… so doing right comes above love for him… 🙏

As I had said...he was all Normal... asking Minu why did she come here..the moment he heard about their house..he did soo much overacting with Arshi ki Jaan..usse Insaaf...it was soo sudden that even Minu was shocked...and probably police as well..ki " Ise kya hogaya"

In BH he was just doing what he had done all his life.. playing the role of a pacifist... being what normally expected of him to be... assuring everyone from Subho ,Tanuja , Bipasha to Shrishti that Jhanak is not a threat anymore and they should not work so hard to get her punishment now..

But misunderstanding is definitely on the way

yes, because to him whatever he has done is the right thing to do... until Jhanak or someone explains it to him how his actions might have hurt Jhanak he is not going to understand that and then he will reflect on it...

These are the ways to drag the drama, it's as simple as that!
