Exactly vira, I don't think he has some motive to do or he is doing because of Shrishti dhamki.....just remember past episodes he never harsh on Arshi, when she was angry he always tried to pacify her , apologized her...so may be that old love resurfaced in him...After seeing Arshi in that condition.

Honestly the two persons who are responsible for Arshi's condition

1. ANI - he was not loyal to Arshi, he would have opened up infront of Arshi, and cancel the marriage...but all the while he faked and pushed the marriage till the mandap.

2. SHRISHTI, when she clearly knows her honewali damad loves Jhanak,instead of confronting him and cancel the wedding she attacked on easy target Jhanak that too in wedding mandap.

Poor girl J is bearing the burnt of these two wrong doings.

For Arshi, am sorry I don't have sympathy...

Ani’s extra performance in the pre cap that Jhanak should get punished if she had committed the crime is sitting differently from what he expressed throughout the episode

Either he’s being blackmailed by Srishti or he came to know that she’s got her own khufiya police team to frame Jhanak, so he doesn’t want to show his support in the station and complicate things for Jhanak!

He knows that some of his people have taken stand for her and Minu’s involvement has given him confidence ..

This is not the way to make Janak strong. Ani is being spineless and does not want to get involved with Janak now as he will also gets accused with her. He is really playing safe now. Not fair, he unnecessarily spoke sweet words to an innocent girl and spoiled her life by bringing her back to this hell. Has he forgotten why Janak came back this time with Kolkata? The makers are conveniently swallowing previous episodes and moving the story forward without head and tail.
