I didn't feel so much that she was dissuading her relationship with Rahul but more so providing a realistic point of view - especially with the society they're living in. What she said was true, it's the girls who will hear it the most and for her having to here it for 25 years she may just have been looking out for Mauli and warning her of what's to come. She's coming across more as a useless character. I get the fear of being termed the "bad guy" but that doesn't mean u lose all ur badass attitude & voice & just keep wagging ur tail around those good for nthg ladies in their regressive endeavours in turn become one urself. This in no way can be called a character development it's character demotion.

She was trying to be realistic but was coming across as regressive & selfish as the other 2 ladies. Making one understand is a different thing & dissuading them is different & I'm sorry Mrs. Furniture came across doing the later for me.

If u r talking about her expressions yes she does give off the support vibe but her words & actions r totally contradictory to her expressions. Cutie chachi was always in support of Rauli & Mauli both & it was obvious even when she didn't speak out openly which is definitely not the case with Mrs. Furniture. She doesn't even stand up for Mauli when DW was bad mouthing her & expecting her to stand up for Rauli seems far fetched.

She was exciting previously even her one kiners aur sarcastic dailgues were enjoyable but nowadays she has become so boring and getting very little to do. If ajanta stand against Tanjay that would be most interesting to watch but after all this when they have already crossed the limits ajanta speaking up seems very rare possibility. I think she will continue as a silent supporter though but still if any time she chose to speak in favor the family will then i think can be called a perfect and complete one with all having their voices and say in decisions.

This is the problem with these transformed characters once displayed such a villainous amd negative avtar they suddenly become so saint that they even forgets speaking for themselves. Before they used to harrass people and now they themselves start getting harassed silently and naively. In most cases they just become Haan na material and a tail of the leads who transformed them. But here she has joined the team of opposite people who helped her transform😒

IKR as princesspurple mentioned it feels like either she is holding back to support Mauli vocally due to "fear of judged" as the homewrecker once again and doesn't want Mauli to go through same experience as hers or she simply isn't close enough/warmed up to Mauli or she is simply confused at the moment to chose sides due to above reasons.Also we don't get to see many 1v1 talks between her and Mauli regardless so one would think they are not that close enough post Manas kaand also.Ajanta can act as a triumph card if she is on side Mauli as she has enough spine to talk back to the rest of the family alone.

Everyone has a different way of showing support and right now this is Ajanta's way of showing support. She may not have the most vocal stance or the most number of actions to prove it but her standing by Manoj inadvertently has her standing by Rauli in the end.

Her fear and anxiety of being put through the ringer again by the family has her holding back the most. Yes, she's badass but she's also human who just wanted to be accepted for who she was. When she started to get that post Manas, with Janki even calling her "bahu" as she decked them with the flower jewelry, to her it felt like she finally got that acceptance after all these years. And just like Mauli who's been chasing for a family, once you get something you've wanted you don't want to let it go.

I have hope we'll see her badass side again. She just needs to get past her fear and anxiety.

This show has done a good job in showcasing how different emotions have played a huge role in everyone's decision making process.
