White is color we wear when someone dies, red is a color of celebration in weddings. Red has been significant throughout their journey… their wedding dress was red … and now again ani is wear that same red while jhanak is in white … ❤️🤍

Saji hai raat aaj, khushi me tumhari,

I stand quietly in this gathering of yours,

Tonight, the night is adorned with your happiness,

Pehana hai aaj tumane laal, kisi aur ke pyaar mein,

Main bhi saji hoon safed, mere pyaar ke intkal mein,

You are dressed up in red in love of someone else,

And I too am adorned in white in death of my love,

Par kaise karu is laal rang ko mere dil se alvida,

Shayad kisi aur par sajata (sindoor) dekh kar hi hoga ye vida...

But how do I bid farewell to this red color from my heart,

Perhaps it will only depart after I see it decorate someone else

Dil ko Dard ki lat lagi hai, ab har khushi hairat si lagne lagi hai,

Tumhe na ho isaka nasha, ab issi koshish me hai ye laga

My heart is so addicted to pain that every happiness seems like a surprise

May you also not get intoxicated by it, now this my effort

Tumhari khushi dekh dil, bhool gaya hai mehsoos karana,

Mumkin hai issi liye bardasht ho raha hai mere pyaar ka tamasha

Seeing your happiness, my heart has forgotten how to feel,

Perhaps that's why I can endure this spectacle of my love.

Poochti hoon khud se, kyun bikharana chahti hoon iss kadar,

Lekin iss raat ke baad, kahan aati hai ab muze zindagi nazar

I ask myself why I want to scatter myself so much,

But then again I do not see a life for myself after this night,

Mere zindagi ki is aakhari raat me, dil to aise toot raha hai,

Har pal toot kar bhi, tere liye shehnai ban kar gunj raha hai

In the final night of my life, my heart is breaking like this,

Even while its breaks, its making sound of shehnai (a wedding march) for you,

Jab guzarani hi hai muze ye raat ab kisi tarah se,

Phir kyu na sawarun tumhe kuch aur pal iss bahane se?

When I have to live through this night somehow,

Why not adorn you for a few more moments with this excuse?

I could not wait to post this till tomorrow because I loved it so much! 🙈 But I will update it with photos of the wedding tomorrow! Sharing with only a few of you who do Shayaris for now! ❤️

" Leke Gaya mere rang saare sangme tu Apne Piya"

In Jhanak's pov...her sirji has taken all colours of her life and is shining bright,according to her Ani is celebrating his wedding in the same red giving closure to their bond and she is just mourning her love that ended even before it could begin..
