Rohit scored a fifty before departing while Suryakumar unfortunately missed out on his half-century by three runs, but the two batters played a crucial part and executed their plans.Rashid and Livingstone - both the England spinners bowled economical spells in the middle overs, but Hardik Pandya played a cameo before Jordan dismissed him in the 18th over. Dube was out for a golden duck, while Jadeja added some handy runs towards the end overs to take India over the 170-run mark. England chased down a similar target in the previous T20 World Cup within 16 overs and won by 10 wickets, but this pitch is not that easy to bat on. What does the second essay have in store for us?

Liam Livingstone - Just to try and keep things simple (on what was said by Buttler to him), bowl into the wicket, keep it straight and make them hit to the longer boundary. The pitch is staying low and slow, we knew that, let's see how it does in the second innings, hopefully we'll chase it down, have a lot of firepower in that dressing room, I hope we'll go past the line.
