- Lastly, Rahul actually being married to Rati and then getting a divorcee does nothing to tackle the societal norms. Why bring up the divorcee marriage topic in the first place? Why give Rahul that epic monolog in public, declaring his love and promising that as a bachelor he'd marry a divorcee? Why have Rahul go round after round defending his decision and questioning everyone on this divorcees can't marry non divorcees for this to resort right back to the stereotype? It doesn't help change society but infact helps to endorse and encourage these thoughts. And with this show coming from this production house that has some big name shows that have tackled these societal norms, deviating from this would not benefit the story and be regressive.

Now I will say that if this is true than I'm disappointed in the entire team for wasting an amazing opportunity to create some change.

Well the marriage is fake or not it remains to be seen. As of now it's real but yeah as u've said it's ITV & they can change or come up with anything at any time.

Yup the video is there but there are lots of loop holes in it as u mentioned it was in pieces. Plus who shot the video that remains a big question too.

Well all of this marriage thing looks really twisted but I'm quite sure they'll sort this out soon too.

As of now the only disappointment is Rahul being sort of dumbed down. Rest sometimes u've to get twisted to fight twisted ppl so I'm all in for it.

As for some strays thoughts:

- I don't understand Ajantas role here. All of a sudden she's anti Rauli, claiming to never having a good vibe when they were together? Girl when was that? She clearly looked happy when Rahul made Mauli where the bangles.

- Vaibhav. He's got the upper hand here and is getting what he wants. For Rahul to look like the problem child and ruin his image. For now Rahul will be public enemy number 1 but when all this comes out - cause Rati will take him down with her, he's got the most to lose. Plus, Swara and Ajay would no longer be able to say how proud they are to have raised a son with good values when he's purposely sabotaging his own twin. Keep smirking boy, it's only a matter of time.

- Rahul's "villian era". I put this in quotes going back a few epis to what Rohit said about his brother. Do not under estimate Rahul. He's willing to go against everyone and fight and has zero issue being the "villian". At the end of the day he'll do what needs to be done but he's going to make his love story epic. This show has done a good job in dropping little character hints and foreshadowing.

As for tomorrow's recap, I want to see how it plays out but I'm less annoyed at the Manas comparison (because we already know Mauli ain't a good judge of character) but more so that she blamed Rahul for not being able to read her mind and heart while instead focusing on his zidd. It's the opposite infact. Since day 1 Rahul is the only person to read Mauli like an open book (better than Manoj) despite her trying to hide her emotions. She on the other hand has never been able to read Rahuls mind or heart. Right now, she's the one with this zidd of trying to be a people pleaser instead of seeing the reality in front of her.

MWG has become a warzone and these ancient minded people need to understand that its modern times are there is no such rule that one can't divorce if they are not happy with their marriage they need to change and adapt their rituals according to modern times in order to survive.Rahul is only taking first steps to bring changes in this family backed rightly by Rohit and Manoj and I agree though it seems long battle but it is of necessary one.

Their disappointment is only to the fact that Rahul didn't agree to them outright and created all this at the end only to marry Rati albeit to take divorce and they have a belief and confidence that they can stop Rahul from taking divorce and will force him to continue his marriage.

Agreed Janki picked a wrong fight and Rahul will not back down even if all his closed ones were on the other side.Remains me of Mahabharat where Arjun stands strong whereas his closed ones were too on the other one.This one is also kind of Mahabharat against ancient beliefs and Rahul will come away triumphs.

Rightly said. Sometimes when ppl don't understand things in a straight way u've to take the twisted route & that's what Rahul is doing & has already taken the first steps.

NWG ppl & their disappointment can not change Rahul nor influence him that's very much clear. He's gonna be firm & no one can force him.

Even I was reminded of the Arjun parallel. And just like Arjun emerged victorious Rahul will too.

As the audience we can definitely see Rati manipulating Rahul but from his point of view he doesn't have reason to doubt her. He doesn't know her true intentions and he's know her since they were kids. There's no way he'd ever think she'd stoop this low. Plus she was saying all the right things (like how the family treats Mauli, etc) that I'm not surprised he agreed to whatever plan this is.

Agreed as the audience we can be disappointed with Rahul for giving into DN's plan but I do get it that he has no solid reason to not give in too. Cos the situation & his family's behaviour with Mauli has left him with no choice. Plus DN did speak some right things too albeit to make him agree but it came across as a hope for him in such a dire situation. So yeah can't blame him completely.

Agreed Mauli is a classic people pleaser & a very pathetic judge of character. Manas comparison is nowhere acceptable. Yes u r right it's always been Rahul who understands Mauli better than anyone else even she herself. While Mauli hasn't been able to gauge him that much. Agreed with what all u've said.
