I don't remember armaan did any kind of vaada with Abhura about life long...

Abhira said their marriage is a deal and she broke it off and fell in love toh armaan ki kya galti..
She can't held him accountable for her mistakes...
Just becoz she is Female I can't be bias....
And justify wrong on her parts...
I know what you are saying and it is not wrong but Ruhi did sort of bully her during that one year and she always wondered why Ruhi hates her so much. She interfered a lot, and when she brough divorce papers, did arman tell her to mind her own business.
Abhira was tagged as the reason for Ruhi and Armans breakup.
When the truth came out to her abruptly, all she can see is how Ruhi disliked her, was rude to her, she clearly screamed at her that Abhira is hte reason arman left her.
Then arman saying to her that you are my first love. Abhira did mentioned his crush and even then he thinks to wait for the right time to tell her.
She is only looking at what is infront of her.
Everyone here is complaining that no one is connecting the dots, but wait till abhira remembers her last conversation with Rohit and how he was upset.
To be fair she even asked Ruhi, that they were together and did go through things together and why did she not once tell her instead of taking armans anger out at her.
I could have understood if he went with police force instead! Kya patha KP kahin danda maarke ghar bhaita deti tho
