They changed characters of isha and savi. Isha is made into someone like Iyer Ishita s mother. Ishita s mother was small town woman never saw life beyond marriage so we understand where her desperation is coming from but isha who left her family and lived life alone helped so many women tasted success in career then got oppurtunity to work in foreign country is acting so desperate. Isha could have motivated savi to be IPS officer and also they could have lived in foreign country. Savi s life would be much better there. She wouldn't be bullied taunted or harrassed there. Ishita s mother desperate behaviour was kind of understand. The character are butchered to fit in the new storyline. They did same with ishan.

Just listened to this new interview of Shakti. He talked about how makers said they tried to bring everything and was told there was no scope for IshVi story anymore. They wanted 2.5-2.7 ratings, so they wanted to bring catalyst to the story to take the ratings high. He said according to him it was the writing which needed to be improvement as the show used to give 2.5-2.7 with Ishaan and Bhosles before. He said if he was the makers he would’ve waited a bit as there was IPL going on, World Cup, and the minutes of the show was increased to 30+ minutes each day due to less shows on starplus. How the show despite all that was still in top 2 and recently gave 2.1 rating.

He said the writing needed to be improved and Ishaan was not great and spineless and wishes he was written better, but how fans still appreciated him which he feels blessed for. How fans wanted to see Ishvi more. He said he feels the most for the fans/Ishaan-Savi fans who wanted to see Ishvi together as they were very invested in their story. The problem.was there in the writing and after finishing off Ishan's character the great new story is simply copy YHM...seriously they think it is going to give TRP above 2.5...

Yep. Channel has to approve leads. You know Aishwarya Sharma auditioned for Sai’s role. She wanted that role and even PH was okay with it. Channel said she could play Patralekha and not Sai.

I think Ghum is not earning as much uska target hai. Isliye they haven’t spent a lot on the cast.
