Have not seen the episode yet, but based on bts clips, Ani is doing exactly what J told him not to do - drag his respect down. He is behaving like a performing monkey. More than being upset with him, I feel sorry for him, that Jhanak has so much hold of him that everything he does revolves around her and only her. He is unable to shut her out.
