Bold1 : so basically she is thinking about everyone else’s happiness over anirudh’s happiness …
Bold 2: yes he did not because he strongly believes J does not want him to break up with Arshi. J literally reminds him about his commitment with arshi with each breath he takes … I would have assumed the same thing ! But ani should regardless break up with arshi but boy is not doing that with fear of loosing J.. he is under serious mental breakdown currently. I also wish Ani to be clear and just break up with J , she leaves him or chooses him … it’s right thing to do. But for me from what we have seen so far J is the heartless one to me. Her character isn’t contributing one bit to runak…
Bold 3: Not the anirudh any of us thought he was … this is the flaw of his character. He cares too much about everyone to fight for himself. They clearly showed the struggle he is going through in the last episodes. And not to forget he look like someone going through depression with all the thoughts of death he is having. For him he wants J not physically but as mental strength. So he can have a room to breath in life once in a while … as friend so he can still make sure she is safe , he can see her once in a while … so in his mind he is not two timing. He just wants J around , involved in his life and not completely gone… no matter how stupid of a plan this sounds he is one track mind , short term planning … he always has been
Ani told J he is equally torn between his family (incl. Arshi) and her. He is also not in a place where J is over everything else for him. At least he has never aid that.
So for J, she is thinking she will help Ani choose the one option that makes the most people happy, while sacrificing.
Since Ani has never said that if J does not love him or goes away, he will not marry Arshi, it is fair for J to assume, both scenarios have the same weight.
The problem is - on the outside this seems like two timing.
If ani clearly tellls j, whatever your choice, I will not marry Arshi bcos I cannot hurt her then i can justify his actions.
Remember J said clearly, she could marry R bcos he may be her only viable option, but she will be doing R a great disservice because he is her friend and deserves her honesty.
Exactly the same - If Ani does not love Arshi, he should tell her and break up that relationship, rather than running behind her and asking her to stay and not sign annulment papers.
He also has to sign and it is his family.
Cheating Arshi to keep J is so tacky...not the Anirudh I thought he was
