I just caught up with Saturday’s episode. It was mainly the ladies and Fraud Mayilu’s overacting. The only good thing about it was her idea to Raji about starting a tuition center which I am sure Pandian will veto🙄

Otherwise the episode was a lame ass one especially Pandian’s remark/comparison about how great TM is to take food for Saravanan to his work while Meena and Raji never thought about doing such things for their husbands. He again brought up arranged marriage vs love marriage discussion. Does this MORON remember that he also eloped with Gomathi and married against the family wishes. Along with being a Bi-Polar, I think Pandian either suffers from Selective Amnesia or full blown Dementia

I blame the writers for writing such a lousy, unlikeable and an idiotic character 🙄

I skipped the initial conversation between 2 frauds- got to know from Cosmo-Girl post that they are plotting and planning to expose KR marriage secret. Such lowlives!

I missed seeing Kathir and Palanivel, both bring something special to the episodes. Why are they giving us so many scenes of Fraud and her simp husband, both are cringe and repulsive and I skipped their scene too

Watched Monday’s episode already. No comments on TM and Pandian, both are simply disgusting and repulsive, horrible characters Both make sarcastic and wounding comments and laugh it off as if its nothing, it shows their level of immaturity and despicable behavior.

Hope Meena gets to go to Chennai with Senthil not worh Fraud and her Simp hisband, who doesn’t have any say anywhere.

Now coming to KR scene- very disappointed with the rude behaviors towards Raji and no reaction or happiness towards her new job venture she planned to take. He cane across as if you do whatever you want and I don’t care. It was Raji’s mistake to think he is slowly changing but the dude clearly is only doing his duty. Don’t think he has any feelings for her which is ok. All he cares about his duty as a good husband plus expects her to listen to him but don’t want to listen to anything she says. There was no need for him go apeshit on her when she asked him to talk to his mother and sarcastically commented that does he have to dance because she got a job. I can’t tolerate such rudeness Hope they don’t turn him bitter against Raji simply because she didn’t listen to him about not going to work at this time. If he is back to square 1, I can’t support such idiocy and disgusting behavior. I felt bad when Raji when she muttered to herself that she should not have told him her plans at all, she was definitely disappointed, dude definitely was not happy for her. I hope she is cautious, not fall for him and get her heartbroken. He has all the time to give advise to his brothers on how to treat and behave with their wives but behaves erratically with Raji🙄 What’s with dignity and self respect of Raji as the reason to give money to his father. It was not needed for him to turn 180 the next day and be rude to her.

Didn’t watch Tuesday and Wednesday’s episodes especially after Kathir’s rude and dismissive behavior towards Raji on Monday. In other scenes Kathir atleast gets to talk in family scenes, Raji is just a BG artist who supports and nods whatever Meena and Gomathi say, The girl cannot even voice out her opinion.🙄

Now this new promo is yet another reason to detach from this show. In this day and age no one puts up with such shit and in-lwas especially FIL behaving like a scumbag is a huge RED FLAG. So now Fraud Mayil is ok with eating outside- Popcorn, Chips and cool drinks- its not unhealthy at all? Pandian has s not a human being at all, man is a self obsessed, narcissistic monster who is also a hypocrite 🙄

Vijaya of SA, Adi Gunasekaran of Ethir Neechal and now Pandian of PS-2 all just plain horrible. I would never want to associate or see such monsters ever in my life.

Another theme the writers of this show have borrowed from SA is that cheating, committing fraud is normal and acceptable.

Anything new in last 2 days? I am travelling to a very remote location. So will not be able to watch episodes at all. We are just going to see a repeat of SA here as well, given the makers are taking up the same track here too. Anything new on KR side?

Taking a break from this crapfest. This is beyond my tolerance level and the storyline is petty and cringeworthy.
In this modern world with both men and women working, contributing to the society, trying to raise kids, globalization is changing the whole world, petty kitchen politics, insecurity, lack of education, stupidity, ignorance and oneupmanship should be the last things promoted. Pandian, TM and her family are coming across as crass human beings. Pandian is not even changing with times and is aware of what he us saying and doing. He is the best example of how a father and FIL should not be. As for TM, which girl aspires to take over the kitchen, rule people at home, wants to dominate. Look at the ambition these writers are selling to the audience that you meed to be like TM🤮 The current storyline proves the caliber of the writing team, They have not come out of the storylines from the 2000s and 2010s with DIL/MIL infighting or pitching one DIL against another. None one has bloody time for all this in the changing world. Look at Gomathi, what a pathetic character she is has no guts to change confront her Megalomaniac of a husband, instead whining to her DILs about he is treating her. Its pathetic to see women are being shown with lack of self respect in this show as if they are slaves of Pandian

Even 80s and 90s TV shows were much better than what we see now

I wish everyone, including Gomathi, leaves this abusive oaf Pandian except the per covering golden peacock they got. So irritating. I really like Gomathi.. it is refreshing to see a MIL no be vicious and always plotting against the DILs.

So far, Meena is my favorite character of this serial. A working woman who doesn't take life too seriously!

I finally caught on with the weeklong episodes today. More like ff'ed them. Watched the full episode of yesterday though. And those few KR scenes in between.

But coming to that dinner scene of KR, what the f**k is that peahen doing coming in between and offering to serve Kathir?! Who the hell is she to serve when Raji is there for him.? That peahen, in the process of trying to be indispensable to the family, is totally crossing boundaries and is coming out to be super cringee. Good that Goms atleast spoke here and restricted that peahen. What she said in a way is true though. Since their marriage, Raji has somehow been the one to serve him food. But again, that is from viewers' perspective. KR's casual convo about what happened in the house and her tuition plans, in this scene was pleasant to watch. It looked so domestic and harmonious and I loved it for some reason.Raji's wide carefree smile to Kathir is soo cutteee. This is despite the severe lack of SS for these two together and the absence of continuity in their progression.

About yesterday, Kathireeyyy! He is HUSBAND GOALS! That man knows to respect, honour and defend his wife and has proved it time and again and will continue to do so. But what I really wish to see is him establishing the tuition centre for her in that same house right in front of Pandian. Wishful thinking, I know. His expression on hearing Raji's cries and laments from kitchen is soo soft and soothing to the viewers eyes. Kathir is so deeply affected by her sorrows. But I couldn't stand to hear Gomathi's defense of her shit of a husband. And his anger and disappointment at Pandian is so palpable. He is the underdog here. And he will make it big. Both Palani and Pandian have said it. This also makes me think, it won't be long before KR leaves the house as Pandian continues to remain under the spell of peahen.

I remember in PS1 when many used to say to Kathir, "nee nalla varuvey da. Nalla irruppe, periya aala varuvey" and he proved that with establishing his own hotel. I hope here it will be Kathir clearing the IAS and making it even bigger.

Loved the way Kathir consoled Raji and asked her to focus on her studies and leave the financial responsibilities to him. Lol, he wants her to consider it all a debt till she finds herself a stable job after studies. It was so much like him consoling a child who lost a toy. While Raji is starry eyed with unrealistic hopes, Kathir is very much rooted in reality and knows how things work. But the guy is soo damn mature and understanding of his wife! *Sigh*

Most very important scene though - Kathir vs Peahen🔥 He so politely put her in her place. Asked her to mind her own business. Although he is away from home for most of the day, he does observe a lot and is all ears to whatever happens at home. He is already sensing the wrongs in peahen. I hope makers continue this Kathir clashing with peahen and Pandian track if they want the TRPs to soar high.

Also saw today's episode when it aired on tv, since my mum watches it so religiously. Peahen complains to Saravanan about Kathir, but he dismisses her concerns. Although he agreed to her demand that he talk to Kathir, I hope he does not do so at all.

Raji wondering who disclosed about tuitions to Pandian. I hope she comes to know it was peahen and Raji in turn reveals to Pandian that it was peahen who gave this idea. This is very important!

I was avoiding to watch anything related to the show but this is what I saw on my YouTube homepage.

Anyways TM has become horrible and is definitely on the verge of forming clans/groups inside the family itself.

This is what happens when you have nothing to do, put your mind to work, you end up being a devil and start ruining other peoples lives.

I can’t believe the writers are showing Pandian trusting and believing TM over Gomathi itself. This show how badly he has been treating his wife for the past 30 years. This is one abusive marriage and what he does with his kids is harassment, abuse intimidation and manipulation. Pandian and Gomathi are totally unfit to be parents in all sense: TM and Pandian are plain crass with inhumane qualities. They both are so alike, no wonder gel with each other. I am so happy in a way that an idiot like Pandian is being taken for a ride by someone like TM. He deserves to be cheated by a conwoman like her:

I haven’t watched last week’s episodes, completely avoided the crap. As I was not happy how Kathir was rude to Raji after the first time she insisted that he talk to his mother, avoided their scenes as well. I thought he also had Pandian’s traits about telling what Raji has to do and not listen to what she wants him to do. Anyway will try to catch up their scenes since he supported her against the hypocrite, narcissist Pandian regarding the tuition matter. I will write my 2 cents after catching up.

I still feel Palanivel, hands down is the best character of this show SO FAR. I am not sure how his character will change in the future but for right now, he is the most sensible person in that house.
