Why i think J will do something about the wedding is because she might see him unhappy, see he is sacrificing his happiness, might be also she realizes she cant be without him as well and their marriage is real and important to her ... plus doing this will give some much-needed strength to J's character. She even acknowledged that she becomes someone else after having sindoor + felt Ani's warmth of love last night. I am 100% sure that she won't be the same Jhanak this time in bh as kal raat k baad sb kuxh badal sa gya hn forever.

Anirudh is the man of emotions...

Last night it was more emotional need that physical one.. He just wanted to get pampered, he wanted all her attention for himself as we said he was longing for it for so long & there is no one who actually tried to understand his battles, he is going through a lot... Society and family pressure of getting married to Arshi, his uncontrollable feelings for Jhanak, her safety, She always choosing to push him away, her demand to make her free... Everything is making him vulnerable...

The Anirudh we saw last night was highly sensitive & fragile, and he just wanted her by his side at any cost...

And even if he felt physical need from her there is nothing wrong in that considering the fact he is in love with her & is deeply connected to her, so having that physical attraction is very natural...

But nowhere he was forcing her for physical intimacy, so no one can question his intentions about it..

All he was doing is being cranky, fragile child in front of the woman he loves the most...

Anirudh is always shown as a practical man , but he is also a very emotional person. He is a man who cries , and teary one when it comes to sadness . Which I believe only a pure hearted man can !!!

He comes across as a man who needs immense support from the ones whom he loves ...unfortunately he is deprived of that.

He needs validation and attention .Jhanak has always given him that attention by calling him her Bagwan .

Be his mom , his gf doesnt provide him emotional support ,they don't understand his feelings , they take him to a strong person who can handle everything on his own.They dont know who Anirudh is .

The feeling to get pampered when sick , the urge to be with the one whom he loves so much , the thought this might be the last time I can spent with Jhanak , there is a storm in his mind ...

He wanted to express it all. He was mentally broken with her words and than fever . He knows he isn't going to die of fever within hours!!! . The I will die ,I dont want to live , this is my last night is expressing his fear of Jhanak leaving him . Its not at all about his fever that would kill him . Its the thought of losing her when it dawns .

Her exams are over he has to go back, he doesnt have any reason to be round ..and knowing how much hurt she is , he feeling disturbed .

Many a times Jhanak as said she feels unsafe ,characterless and all,but did she really me it ..99% not .It was to push him away ( we discussed it n times the shadis in the show .)

Other than that anirudh has always been a gentle man .Not even his eyes had wrong intentions when he was with Jhanak alone . I dont understand what gives the feel that Anirudh is longing to have physical or he is desperate to sleep with her .He has taken care of her when ahe was unconscious , sleeping , he didnt even rouch her back then. Even if he belived she loved Rahul , he could have touched her if he was that desperate to be physical with her.

There were numerous times when they were alone , he never ever touched her inappropriate . Having shown his inner thought that he always felt right on her like a husband , he could have easily forced himself on her with his word play.

The makers have left it open , so that they can use it as and when required for the story about last night .

I thought the dream hit the spot on all counts - cheesy like our majnu Anirudh, brought out his thoughts, also showed he considers her his real wife - SR was in his house in his bed, also if they indeed did it, they cannot show that level of romance with reality esp if in t he story he feigns unawareness of his confession the day after

I really dont get Ani being bura...other than those initial days when his awkwardness over having J witness his pda with Arshi and Rahul story by shristi made him behave unreasonably with J. But when you pointed out the conflict regarding rahul, the reference is probably baed on J' accusations.

Ani has been more unselfish and caring of J's wishes than I thought he would ever be based on his characterization. Even with his haq mentality over J - he still went to rahul so she can be happy, his entertaining marriage to Arshi when he wants J, respect to J's words.

His insensitve acts with Arshi will never take away the kindness he showed J Bodoma jethu Choton and apu di. He truly has a loving heart.

Somehow once they cement their relationship is when I feel the possessive Ani will come out.

For me "his haq" dialogue in his SR dream was the best as it clarified a lot of why he is, the way he is, with J. Plus the dialogue "par kya hum dono ke dil ne yeh mana?" ki yeh shaadi nakli hai !

With regards to J, this is what I think, and I of course stand to be corrected, but I did not think she was physically uncomfortable with Ani's hug.

She was overwhelmed yes by the suddenness of it and she was worried , possibly guilt ridden with 'yeh galat hai' , simply coz this is Arshi didi's hone wala husband !

If you take the Arshi baggage off her mind, she would hug him back like there is no tomorrow coz beneath all the layers of facades, there is deep love in her heart for him !

Which is why she eventually gives in and hugs him back !

In gujarati there is a saying.. "jeva sathe teva" ... meaning you should be what others are like with you sometimes...

Will just say that's what we are doing! haha

My thoughts on the episode: There was not much that transpired today so not much to write but one thing is for sure... the equation has changed between Jhanak and Anirudh after his confession.

First and foremost... Anirudh remembers his confession very well.

Ani: agar tum hoti to samaz jati... you care for me much more than Arshi cares for me

Ani: main tumhe gale laga kar so gaya, tumhe bura to nahi laga na... He was feeling guilty and embarrassed about how be forced a hug on Jhanak, thinking it might have made Jhanak uncomfortable. Mentioning it was a decent thing to do. The last thing he wants to do is chase her away and act like a creep. His sole motto right now is to make sure Jhanak returns with him to Kolkata. This is Ani we are talking about. He does not think further in the future. Its one step at a time always.

Jhanak: Aapako bukhar tha sirf iss liye aap muze gale laga kar soye the? .... Jhanak is wanting more clarification. I guess for her the why is more important naturally. She loves him and hugging him will not make her uncomfortable, but why he is hugging her is what is more important to her. She thinks Ani was talking crazy last night. It was a moment of emotional outburst but not his forever feelings. Is this love or just fear of not being able to see her who has become part of her life? Like when you feel sad when your best friend or some close relative is going away forever...

Jhanak: Kuch dino me sangeet hai.... typical Jhanank, not speaking her mind or asking questions but just putting up a wall

Anirudh says his heart is divided into two parts and he does not understand what he wants to do.

This is nothing new for me. After last night's outburst, it is clear to him, he cannot live without Jhanak but Jhanak wants him to marry Arshi. She reminds him of that commitment he has made to some other woman every step of the way. He does not know what wrong or right thing to do at this point.

If he decides to not marry Arshi, will Jhanak think less of him and will she leave him, his family is also there whom he loves dearly...

If he decides to marry Arshi, he will be miserable for the rest of his life & hopes of being with Jhanak will shatter...

Jhanak does not love him back. He can't make her love him back or force a marriage on her that is not her choice. And he knows how much she hates to live in Bose's house. Its a dilemma, tearing him in two pieces. What he does know is that he wants Jhanak to be in his life, and does not want to lose her.

Again one step at a time ...

Ani: Please kabhi mera sath mat chodana. Baki sab mai sambhal loonga... hamesha mere sath rehana..

puze pata hai Jhanak mai thoda sa matlabi ban raha hoon...

Jab tum mere pas rehati ho, to muze bohot accha mehasoos hota hai. Please kahi gayab mat ho jana.

Ani's top concern right now is Jhanak not being in his life. He is scared to death about losing her forever and never able to see her again. It will be like his lifeline being taken away from him. If marrying Arshi is what he has to do to ensure she feels comfortable sticking around he is ready to do that.

This is called pyaar me shahid hona... being a martyr in love! Is this stupid, right or wrong?... it does not matter. This is what his love is. It can go to this extent!

There is clearly a lot going on in Ani's mind right now. His sudden outburst, his wedding, his family's reaction, making sure Jhanak does not leave him.. there are too many things happening around him. He has not made a decision yet on what he will do, or how he will do it.

Jhanak: aap apana farz nibhayenge... Arshi didi ke sath meri aankho ke samane khush rahenge... lekin aapako unake sath dekh kar main to oodas nahi hongi na... kal raat ke baad bohot kuch badal chuka hai... maine kyu nahi khud ko aap ko...

This was a small monologue but it tells me for Jhanak the way she looks at their relationship has changed. She is questioning herself for hugging him back, for not stopping him... did that feel good? Is my resolve to stay away from Ani and Arshi's marriage breaking? Am I happy about their wedding? Something else is waking up in her... that she feels quite scared to face

Ani: tum chahati ho na, main arshi ke sath khush rahoo, apane har ek farz nibhaoonga.. these words reflected a lot of pain for me... the way krushal said it... it was heartbreaking

Ani: Thank god muze bukhar hua, tum mere pas rahi aur me chain ki need so paya...

Jhanak: (runs away...)

Anirudh's expressing his love here, and how he enjoyed their intimate moments was like showing a mirror to Jhanak. Anirudh is still under the impression that Jhanak feels weirded out about last night. But for Jhanak who loves him, this night also meant a lot as well.

The question is after what happened between them, what was said, what was done, what was shared... will they be able to follow the path they have determined for themselves?

You know my first thought after watching today's episode was like "ok ok episode"

There wasn't much happening in the episode today.

Even though their equation is changed now, still they are back to square. He says he is confused, his heart is divided into two parts but no clarity i guess. If you love someone then you don't get attracted to third person, you don't care about other person apart from your love partner, you don't think about others but here Ani loves Jhanak that means he is not in love with Arshi.

The day he got attracted to jhanak is the day where he fell out of love with Arshi.

Now there's no place for confusion. I am disappointed with today's episode .

But

Your analysis is better than the episode. It gives more meaning to the episode.

Now I feel it's ok episode atleast not the bad one.

I don't understand on which basis Jhanak returns back to Calcutta. If Anirudh had ever said he only wants to consider their marriage and it is done and real he's going to break with Arshi there will be no marriage, it would have been a valid point maybe Jhanak also would have accepted her feelings for him.

At the start of the show he looks like he's manipulating her...and Jhanak is there but waiting for him to say it firmly, authoritatively with trust and assurance, but all in vain.

Jhanak should have asked him if she's going to stay her whole life by his side only to make him happy and she has no life, what's her future?

He got a fever and now all these dramas.

Chotton's love story is getting more interesting and direct no third fourth or fifth wheel like Anirudh and Jhanak.

Ani never told her to call him by his name instead of Sirjee but was having a big dream.

I have been very pessimistic but with this track, i am very optimistic because i kind of understand the picture...

Bold: it kind of came naturally to me whatever I said but yes you are right in a way there were not a lot of monologues or dialogues for people to understand what was happening in both of their minds. We will just have to wait and see 🤷🏻‍♀️

Their scene was short but your detailed analysis was like a rain in the desert. I liked few dialogues, but ill mention only one that stood out for me:

“Thank God mujhe Bukhar howa, tum mere paas rahe aur main chein ki nend so paya”

He didn’t hesitate telling her how grateful he was for the night. And as he tried to express his feelings again, he was looking at Jhanak and observing her carefully if she felt any different. I think Anirudh does notice Jhanak’s change of expressions. She didn’t look too happy. She probably felt hopeless and gave up in despair. She turned the table towards him and reminded him for his Sangeet because she probably didn’t want to get too involved and get hurt because she is aware Anirudh doesn’t remember anything.

Keeping your positivity on one side, I couldn’t avoid my disappointments roaming in my heart. I don’t blame him as a character, the writers are ruining his image. Not everyone will dissect meanings behind his demeanor like us so people will end him doubting his integrity and love! I had high hopes that at least if not explicit, he’ll throw chote mote ishaareeee towards Jhanak. But let’s see. We rant, we have our disappointments, but we end up giving him more benefit of doubt. 🥲
