iam wondering if she is thinking about him sorting “I love you”… in the episode when he says I I slept hugging you, Jhanak doesn’t think of him saying I love you, rather she thinks of the scene where he get physically intimate and she says “ this is not right” and he says , we will think about what’s right. And what’s not later. So it’s not that he forgot his “I love you “ .. she feels that he forgot their intimate moments and just remembers the hug. What happened after hug, he doesn’t remember .

That’s what I inferred … in an alternate universe, had it not been a daily soap and had they not been saving the real consummation for more trps, they spent the night together as husband and wife.but since this is all trp game, they may just show it as he forgot his confession even though that’s not what they alluded to today .

No no...badal gya means physical intimacy, like Ani slept while hugging her and ILU Jhanak this time.
