Purple 1 - Ani is more unfortunate of the two, J knows she has no family, toh iss jaankari se usse tasalli hai, she does not have to work towards fulfilling her family's expectations !

Reminds me of his varmala scene where he looks at each of his family member's smiling faces , helplessly, probably hoping against hope , ki koi ek inme se yeh samajh le, ki Ani akhir chahta kya hai ! How heart wrenching to realise you have no one to call your own, no one who understands you !
There was something so heart breaking about that scene - it's etched in my mind forever, toh kabhi makers ne Ani ka character ko butcher kar bhi diya, toh bhi , shayad main koi benefit of doubt dhoondti rahungi iske liye
