As much as I understood Arshi is a girl who ticked his every box when he was younger..he went into a relationship with her & I believe loved her according whatever his definition of love was then...it is definitely not the same now...

& Now he Is trying to talk himself into being in love with her.. because it is what his family wants & he didn't know he had another choice..& now he doesn't even have his illusions to protect him,he somewhere knows what real love, romance and excitement feels like, & it is not Arshi..But he still doesn't seem to have any choice.Jhanak just told him as clearly as she could , " I am not an option for you"..so what's left? So it is ba very very critical complicated complex situation if they deal with it carefully...but...what they are doing is continuous marriage drama...one after the other and frustrating us... which is not required....

What I'd like to find out is - is he saying ILU to Arshi knowingly misleading her or does he think he is in love with her.

Both are wrong

First you are misleading a girl into thinking you love her when you dont. You are also misleading the whole family. Why hold on to her if he does not love her. MAny times Arshi would have broken up if he had not gone running behind her asking for forgiveness.

If he thinks he loves Arshi what he is doing with J is unforgivable. While he saves her he also tries to control her life. His doing things for J when he thinks he loves Arshi is again playing with J's feelings.

Both are two timing. We love Ani because of his puppy eyes, but he is doing wrong to 2 girls and its time one holds him accounatble. He is doing all what he thinks is best for Arshi best for his famiy aand what he thinks is best for J. He is coming across as a control freak

With Jhanak the obsession is not as bad as Imlie.

If you have not watched it, watch it, it will give you something to distract.yourself from this show. The show is one of a kind. Usually you dont get that quality of acting dialogues direction toxicity :) in a show.

1-375 epid is Adi - Imlie. They managed to get viewers hooked with ML only ever patting the FL's head in affection. Still the couple was damn good. The scenes are very unique and not cliched at all, very organic.

Most younger folk like post epi 375 when Aryan comes in and its Aryan Imlie. Seldom can a show sustain a new ML mid way. Imlie managed to pull it off. They had fantastic chemistry, Sumbul's acting in Imlie is phenomenal. Gashmeer and Fahmaan Khan are also brilliant. The show did not always have logic and the vamps were the worst you can ever find furthermore they would never get in trouble. After IPKKND in 2012 it is the only other show that managed to grab that kind of interest.

I wish there are other shows like Imlie - I can watch that have completed airing. If you have recommendations let me know

I don’t really stick around with Indian shows that well since the charm gets lost in the middle when the writers explore useless tracks for the trp greed and the story starts to lose its grip. I always noticed that I end up leaving the show midway due to disappointments Lol!


I used to be a major Gül Khan production fan. Watched all of her serials but also leaving them towards the end for same reason. The story losing its charm.
