So, I watched both episodes without skipping the parts. I knew what was coming so it was easier to bear it and probably I am a bit more detached from Runak so it's less hurtful!
It's a great performance by Krushal and Hiba. Not doubt! Both were fabulous in all scenes. 👏
As far as the story and writing goes I am still disappointed. What we were promised and what we are being served is completely different. We have seen heart-wrenching scenes between these two a lot... so the story progression, character progression, and characters' brain progression are still 0. We expect a story along with beautiful cinematography and amazing acting.
My heart goes out to Jhanak. She was cornered like anything and heard some painful things from so many people. But I am sure the one that must have hurt the most was when Anirudh confirmed his love for Arshi again and called their marriage "banawati". She did not have a choice but to back that up as well.
Anirudh is not a bad ML in my eyes, he is a great guy but this moment will be noted as one of his weaknesses that he was ready to marry someone when he is clearly not sure if he will be able to keep the other person happy or be happy himself, regardless he is in love with Jhanak or not. Marriage is not a joke whether it is with Arshi or Jhanak,
Which bride does not want to dress up for her wedding? Arshi is also not interested in the marriage as much. She is only doing this to belittle Jhanak which is clear as day! Shristi and the entire family are doing this for their ego and fake respect as well, do not care the least bit about Anirudh.
The varmala scene was a superb performance by Krushal and Hiba. Krushal showed his loneliness, pain, longing for Jhanak, and love for his family who unfortunately do not care about him...
He looks like a helpless little boy to me among his people! That was a heart-wrenching feeling! I feel sorry for him.

It is still a disappointment, that both would have let this wedding happen if not for the intervention of the Priest, just like the wedding with Avinash. It does not change the fact for me that both made a mockery of their marriage and let others make it, which was not great to see.
Listening all day that their marriage was "nakali" several times and suddenly hearing it was "asali" from the priest who married them .... Let's see what impact that will leave on them! I want to see real progress in Jhanak. That is what we were promised in the promo. I want to believe they were showing her character progression and not her stopping the wedding per se at the moment.
But I am not going to keep any expectations.... Going to watch it with a detached mind. I have stopped building a perfect guy image of Ani in my mind. Because he is not. He is flawed and that is ok, but he is also not perfect which is also true!
The precap that they have been shoving in our faces for the last three days and Anirudh's dialogues are simply annoying! Stop doing this makers!
That is all!
