Just saw the episode.
I think everyone is being a little too harsh on Ani.
It is clear he does not want to marry Arshi, but is doing it because J is fully committed to Ani Arshi marriage and if he does not have her anyway, then he is ready to give up his happiness because of the time Arshi gave to the relationship out of guilt.
Begining of episode Ani gave J a chance to explain why saving him was so important to her and she took the same 'ehsaan' route, furthermore said she will come for the wedding to see them.
A stronger sharper man would have broken the relationship with Arshi when he realized he does not love her. Ani in some form thinks he is sacrificing himself, idiot that he is.
Arshi clearly knows now Ani loes Jhanak. She is following her mothers advise and putting pressure on Ani by acting like everything is alright. Even today soem of Ani's dialogs were all a bit vague.
My wife always looks sundar could be J. Also when she says you live in my heart, he did not say it back. He asked a question, do you think you dont like in my heart or something like that. Arshi is employing the tactics her mom taught her the day of Ani's bday. She just wants to win over J.
I hope makers give some reason as to why Ani is repeatedly saying no one can come inbetween them, etc.
If that had been his way of protecting J till now, now it's no longer applicable, right? But the toofan dialog, keeps coming back to me, as does his holi dialog of distracting his family to keep her safe,...is he throwing out ILUs to Arshi to protect J in some way?
So looks like shaadi got postponed till post divorce or are they looking for another pundit in Calcutta? Wedding did not break yet. Looks like J did not do anything. I'm glad its the pundit who refused to marry them in Kashmir temple.
Now J will refuse R and Tej willl try harm Ani. Will they go back as husband/wife till divorce or Calcutta shadi or will they really marry again is the question.
