To those who took real pains to watch this weeks ott, disgusting, nonsensical mela drama in Kmtmg, pls confirm was that even a marriage ceremony?

Let us keep aside if there was consent or not from the woman, or whether marriage was forced on her or not, with people around watching as muted witnesses her humiliation.

So many TV serials for years have been showing exhaustive to elaborate wedding tracks with Hindu marriage rituals, mostly Punjabi, Gujarati, Haryanvi or UP customs are followed in Hindi serials..

Isn't saptapadi or saatphere heart of a marriage ceremony? with bride & groom exchanging their positions and moving around a small lit holy fire by holding hands, more importantly making vows for each turn taken, initial four by groom and next three by bride to commit to each other for life?

Only after finishing which hindu marriage termed complete by a priest or not?

Being inside a big fire circle, twirling around on tarazu that too four times is 'shaadi sampann hui'? has anyone seen even a bribed or threatened priest calling such outrageous act as marriage in TV serials any time?

PS.

Sindoor or mangalsutra is NOT compulsory in many marriage ceremonies..

Jahan does curse herself for 'wishing' they get married. [well... who cares now.]

Dildaar does say somethings towards the end. Dont know what bit him.

Yup... we can rest the case that Virat was faking it. He was serious. had a monologue.

Fortunately they are back in Jahan's home.

Oh.. Bhavani now is tired of court visits and did she say she doesn't want to go for any case???? was a wtf moment for me.

So next step seems to be Ammu will go back with some plan.... and in a few days will fall in love with him again. "Beautiful"

This week is worst compared to last week. Hospital scenes were bearable than this Mela drama.

Actually, a better thing to do will be to just leave. Let him live with the notion that 'all women are traitors'... messes up his life more. Can spend his life time on his mothers laps, sucking on a baby soother so that he doesn't throw any tantrums. He deserves it. Why take any pain?

Yup. And the hospital one was on friday. So the current rating includes that ep. For me its from Saturday that the boat started sinking.

I didn't get any point in what happened today - was a filler at best.

Bhavani.. slow claps for her. From the symbolic 'Vijayi Bhava' to 'I am tired'... well... what did she expect?

Feels like she still wants Ammu to be around him... and that is what Ammu is going to do - may be some version of Mogambo... perhaps a fun one like someone here (bips?) mentioned.

These steps have had no justifiable reasons:

- Working for him after losing her job

- Staying in the terrace (beyond a day or two)

- Fake wedding

- Likely the upcoming track

well... why is annulment even needed? What difference did that stupid mela thing actually make?
