I am from U.P. and I am shaken to the core thinking about what would happen in the next Vidhansabha elections? I recall reading countless incidents of Gundaraaj in the newspapers. I remember how people from only one cast got all police jobs and how they abused their positions. I know people who had firsthand experienced ill behavior from the policemen. Those things were a common occuring. Dons and Mafias were celebrated. The possibility of those things coming back makes me shudder.
I know that peoople from one religion and one cast have united to vote BJP out. Nothing BJP does will ever change their vote. They are extremely biased.
But, a lot of people who could have voted for BJP did not vote for them. BJP should take this as a wake-up call and work on their shortcomings.
I am a supporter of BJP but I believe their arrogance needed to be broke. And it has. BJP is what it is because of their top leaders. They have to work on their regional ministers too and give the public a better choice.
