Finally after 10 years... we get the trophy again 😭😭😭

I'm so so proud of this team... truly from start to finish they were brilliant this season. We had a fab opening duo, and then when Salt was gone we had Venky and Shreyas do the middle order job so well. Our bowlers pitched in with regular wkts, we had the most quality spinners in the form of Varun and Narine and a Harshit Rana who can defend us in death over. And ofc Russell who came in just to ruffle the feathers of the opposition whenever needed. Even Ramadeep, Manish Pandey... whoever was brought in, contributed what was needed for the match.

And leading them all, our skipper Shreyas... I'm just so proud of this boy. Right from when he became KKR captain I saw potential in him, even though he was nervous and still learning back then. He's still learning, I'm sure, but he's so much more confident now. All the bowling changes, matchups, field placements, keeping a cool head, being there for his bowlers... he was an amazing captain this season and he actually got us a trophy! His progress makes me so so proud 😭🤧❤️

God, I so wish we could stick with this team for a few more years 🥺🥺 next year auction mein we'll have to give up almost all of this squad... sochke hi bura lagta hai. These people have all made KKR the brilliant team they were this season. I don't wanna see any of them go 😭😭

But tab ka tab dekhenge. Today was ours, this whole season was ours. We won the trophy, fair and square! Go KKR!!! 💜💜💜🥳🥳🥳
