I sort of don't blame Ishaan for the trust he has in Rao Saheb and Akka Saheb. Emotional abuse is the worst cause you can't see it. With physical abuse you can see the scars as the victim. They did everything they could to shield him from their true characters. To some extent Shantanu is to blame for all this cause he was not strong enough to stop all this from happening. He now didn't even have a bond with his own son. The one time he tries to go towards his mother, Akka Saheb has a heart attack. It will take a lot I think for him to face reality. I don't think it would be easy on anyone to accept that the foundation of everything you believe in is rotten. Here is me trying to understand Ishaan a bit...lol...He is flawed big time and it has a lot to do with the upbringing. I think if he was bad, Rao Saheb and Akka Saheb would have never needed to hide their true selves from him. They don't hide it from anyone else in that house. Ishaan now seems to have an inner conflict, fighting your inner self with the Ishaan these people have raised. And obviously at this stage the Ishaan these people have raised will prevail. I just can't wait to see who he becomes once the truth is in front of him and he can't run away from it. If he will still stick by his Rao Saheb like he did with Akka Saheb (when he supported her after Savi revealed his childhood reality in that play.) Am just looking at him in isolation without considering his ties to Savi. It's hard not to get angry at him once Savi comes into the picture and he is standing by the wrong.
