I liked the episode a lot. Ani cannot come across intentionally romantic. He said yesterday as well, he is not in a position to ask her anything directly because he is with Arshi. But he is desperate to communicate his love to J somehow, he said he will get tassilli. In his monologue also he said - he is not able to get her to understand him. So he is intentionally driving the conversation in all the right places to get a reaction from her and telling her how he feels, but balancing it with his friendly tone, so as to allow J to respond to him and engage. If he takes a full on romantic avatar, J will be forced to rebuff him, so her conscience is clear wrt her sister.
Both are like moths attracted to the fire. They are unable to stop themselves but getting pleasure within a boundary they define and convincing themselves they are not doing anything wrong. All their outward communication is relatively harmless so they can justify to themselves they are not cheating. All the romance and communication is through implication, hence the long eyelocks. Ani 100% wants J to catch on what he feels, and he does not care abt consequences any more.
I think they will acknowledge their feelings but she will push him to go back to Arshi...Imlie story - he will go back to Arshi per her request. He has already shown he does not care if Arshi breaks up with him, if not he would not have gone on this date.
Unspoken love with their hearts speaking loudly.
They are executing this well, without hurting their characterization too much. Loved the episode.
Lets see what tomorrow brings.
Also they have kept Arshi relatively positive even tho she is mean. She is not shown as bad as her mother. I wonder if they will bring the angle of them being sisters to bring Jhanak back., and then make Arshi the vamp like they did Malini in Imlie. Something big has to happen for J to come back to the hell house.
