Not to digress, but I just hated him for that! Although Bollywood stars were more hypocritical in this department eg Priyanka Chopra celebrating her own wedding w/ fireworks even while she lectured people not to celebrate Diwali w/ them, Kohli's repeated crusade against Diwali fireworks was irritating. It's worth noting that his was in pretty bad form at the time. Once he stopped trash-talking Diwali and focused on his cricket, it was a different story

Kohli in early years was very stupid like many of us are. After Vamika was born his behaviour changed. Now you won't see anything wrong from him.

I think over the last 2-3 years, he's stopped doing that: asking people not to celebrate Diwali w/ fireworks. I don't recall him ever campaigning against Holi, the way some people do

When Kohli went away to UK and didn't play one series recently, lot of people were speculating that his mother was not well etc. but his privacy was so important that he remained silent. Didn't tweet anything.

Finally after many days his brother had to tweet that his mother was okay and don't speculate things etc.
