yes Jol Nupur is the original one but the storyline is a little different

A lot of characters are the same. like Minu, Appu, bodoma but shristi and Arshi's entry in the show is much later. Also, guruji is not evil as well prob. And this show was prob old, served a very different kind of audience than the current one...

She did not pack much when she came to Kolkata, so prob has a lot of clothes at her home in Kashmir...

Imagine he gave her those cotton dresses and she refuses ti take them , he will again get hurt + angry because of her refusal , just like she refused to wear the saree he gave her.

Actually , it's the other way around. Jhanak is an original as far as LG is capable of writing original shows , it has elements of several blockbuster hit bengali shows , let me name them for you , because I've watched all of them ( don't ask !) - Ishti Kutum , Jol Nupur , Kusum Dola , Bou katha kou .

Now that Jhanak is blockbuster hit , they're making it in bengali ( ofcourse they will . ) That show has just started . The leads are Sean and Anushka. Name of the show is Roshnai , which is the fl character name of course. ML is Aranyak .
