Since 2020 auction I have observed a  trend . Very few teams stand an outside chance into play offs .. This IPL also those teams that have consistently performed well throughout the season are getting into play offs . Those that have performed badly like MI were never in the race ...

RR it seems peaked a bit too early . They have lost four on the trot . It will be difficult to get back to the winning momentum ... 

Meanwhile , there is rain prediction for CSK vs RCB match . Incase it rains then CSK get through . Incase it doesn't then RCB will have to defeat CSK by a margin of 18 runs or by 18.1 overs . And for those who believe in numerology, Virats lucky number is 18 ...

I wonder after succesive high scoring matches when there was a serious doubt about cricket becoming baseball game, all of a sudden scores started becoming lower.  Were the pitches converted by authorities  to suit bowlers or players started getting worn out ? Looking at some player's forms it will be worrisome situation for India going into world cup immediately after marathon IPL season in extremely hot weather conditions. 

I completely agree ... Serious doubts can be raised justifiably over the pitches ... How can the pitches worsen or become so slow drastically??  At one point in time you had 100+ in 5 overs and now even 40+ seems difficult!!!

The form of Indian players looks faded  . And frankly I am a bit worried especially bcoz we have a important match on 04 June against Pakistan...I hope batsmen return back to their form and class before the D day ...
