You girls have penned such beautiful posts. Agasthya was the jaan of the show. The writers goofed up big up in their greed for TRP. Even post Surya’s introduction, the story wasn’t built up well for reasons known best to them. I may not have continued watching had Sai quit the show.

But having said that, I am happy that Imlie got to live her happy life with Surya. Post Agasthya’s death, the Chaudharys had abandoned her. She was made to live out in the open by Mami. She had nothing but a few memories of Agasthya to spend an entire life. In Surya she found a partner who gave her love, respect and unwavering support. He even fought with his family to fulfill her dreams. I am happy that the girl found a family and home. She isn’t living a lonely life.

We all would have probably appreciated the second chance had the story been written well. The creatives themselves weren’t sure of the course. Had the story been written like Shree’s FF then it would have been easier for us to accept Surya and Imlie.

Luckily, I had some time to pen down what I felt. I am glad you are on my side with your opinion .

I tried to write my thoughts and realized that it was all over the place. The highlighting and making sections made it appear more coherent.

the way they ended the maskman track was so pheeka with Navya that audience ko pata Chal Gaya Agastya’s death mystery will be total bakwaas only.. so they did not invest at all and they were proven right.

they should not have ended maskman track at all, Shayad, they could have showed that Agastya( khandaan ka waaris kinda stuff) was suspected to be killed by maskman and then imlie could have vowed to somehow bring down the maskman and they should have added surya(Agastya with memory loss) or even separate character( agastya’s twin) to the mix. Since the maskman mystery worked for the show, the creatives should have spent some good amount of their grey cells (or watched some shows/movies) to spin something better than the bakwaas Navya..

This way Agastya’s death track would have worked i feel. They could have maintained the whole vibe of the show as well.. even the twin revelation would have worked.. nothing would have been faltu and be-Matlab ka..

if agastya with memory loss uncovering the whole maskman thing along with imlie-Agastya having the pull towards each other would have been chef’s kiss…
