Watched the whole episode without forwarding any scene. Usually, you get some characters that you are not interested in, but here everything went quickly, and I didn’t feel bored at all.

Looking forward to the second episode.

I dislike Ahmed Ali Butt so much! The way he treated Hassan in his podcast I had to FF whatever scene he was in. Bardaasht se baahar hai woh insaan..a lot of episode 1 was from teaser1,2,3,4….like Humayun said first two episodes will be character intros..I loved Faris-Zarnab phone calls..that was IMO the best part and natural. Agree about Humayun. He is just same. Voice Lelo ya way of talking..

No idea about how Ahmed Ali is or I didn't even watch the podcast so pata nai..

Solid first episode. I understand e1-2 are going to be cktr intro and set up and the real story will start in e3. I wish they had dropped first 2 episodes at once so we can get over this part.

The first 15 minutes tested my patience a bit as they were scenes from the teaser. Once we were over that hump, I started to enjoy myself. I liked all cktrs and did not feel any need to skip any scenes.

Surprisingly, the Munna-Zarnab love track was less interesting to me. We have seen countless films where the gali ka gunda/bhai/tapori cktr falls in love with a straight-laced FL so it didn't hit me as much. Maybe later it might as the track evolves and comes in its own. What I was really intrigued by were: Munna-Rehmati and Faris-Zarnab dynamics. I also want to see more of the criminal world Munna inhabits and his antics with Dilbur. I also want to learn more about the world of gentlemen. I also am keen to see Zarnab at work and how that world operates.

Loved Yumna ki heroine wali entry. We typically get hero entry scenes but to have a heroine entry scene was a treat. Yumna looked fab. Yumna looks fab overall in this.

I thought everybody performed well but I do agree with whoever said it is Humayun having the same body language, voice modulation and vibe of cktrs we saw him play in Dil Lagi and his Punjab and London films. But he does it well so I won't complain. Adnan and Zahid were the stand-out performances for me followed by Yumna. I'm surprised that Ahmed Ali Butt didn't irritate me.

My only crib would be if the gundas' accents and language were more authentic but I can also see that may not be practical. I think we are so used to seeing mumbai underworld films with that tapori accent or gang/crime shows with the UP accent that I too wanted the gundas in GM to have the karachi gunda/bhai accent. But that may have limited reach or made the content too niche so I won't complain.

This is unlike any ptv drama. This has a total film ya webseries wali pheels. Even the opening credits were not what we see in ptv dramas. I would wait to see in future episodes if GM is cut to be a binge watch or for episodic viewing, The way e1 ended seemed like e2 should have been clubbed together, But minor nitpicks inside, I will definitely be watching e2 and I'm hoping that once cktr intros are done and the real story starts, this will become gripping.

Forgot to add. KRQ dialogues were so crisp and sharp. Soooo good. Nothing less nothing more was needed.

Watched some highlights. It was ok. Not so great. It might improve later as even Humayun said he personally liked after 3rd episode. I found some dialogues very underwhelming was expecting more from writer of his level. I think Zahid will die though.

Watched the first episode

It was not bad tho i have more expectations. I guess it will get better with time.

Adnan was good. Humayun was fine. This character reminds me of his dilagi's character. Zarnab is preachy but still yumna looked nice as journalist.

Zahid's look was nice.

Looking forward to coming episodes. Hopefully it will get interesting.

Plot is okayis not that gripping. Adnan was good. Humayun toh is not that different though. They don't really look like proper gangsters. Gives chota chatri (Johnny lever's character) vibes

Felt bad when Ahmed's character cries after than woman gets married. So is his baddua going to work? Does that mean Zarnab will marry someone else (most probably Zahid)

Next, liked Zarnab's outfit which she wore for her show but I feel Yumna's English pronunciation is off. She should really work on that (It's not a shade. I have said this about other actors as well)

Zahid's look I like. Awaaz mein dumm hai woh police officer wali baat.

Want to see how sohai's character is going to be

I liked the music as well, even I felt I have heard it before.

Plot is normal nothing different, the same righteous FL & not so righteous ML. The FL going to be his light & show him the right path.

I liked Munna's character. He has some innocence that's appealing. Liked Adnan's character as well.

Zahid ki aawaaz hi kaafi hai. His moonchh was a bit distracting though.

I wish they had gone easy with Yumna's make up. Her face looked cakey. I loved the dress she wore, white one with black embroidery.

Not just pronunciation, she said specie instead of species. 'Specie' means something else right?
