Ani has a few aces up his sleeve, but unfortunately his innate goodness use Shrishti jaisa gidne nehi dega!

Since families are involved here, Ani might find himself at a cross road, with his family's name and reputation at stake in the society ! - this is a major reason why Ani has probably decided to resign to fate ! If it was only about him, it would have been different. But this is also about J and his family and to some extent Arshi, an age-old commitment he wants to live by.

While it is true that Ani has been guilty of not coming clean with Arshi, I am hoping he would now try to, as in an episode before, his monologue cleared it for him and for us, that he has now understood that he has fallen out of love with Arshi !

But Shrishti will try all means to tweak Ani's non transparency, in her favour, not because she doesn't want to let Ani go as he is Arshi's love, but because he will not let Ani and J's love win ! And in this game Shrishti is playing, unfortunately she will use Arshi as a pawn willy nilly !
